bw2, I'm currently scanning our wills and documents that we signed the week before we went to the beach. That was another "instantitis!" This time of year I tend to put anything I can off until after Rosh Hashanah so I can focus on prep. Now I'm scanning because the law office didn't make copies or digital copies for us - and the originals need to go to safe deposit box, with a digital copy to ds perhaps. And the law office had them already bound when we arrived, so they didn't have an executed copy. And I have to take each apart (staples) and put back together.

Anyway, it makes me uneasy not to have a copy of the executed documents.

I'll need to get ready for workout soon. My mind is everywhere else...

frustrating that you have to under the papers - I have always struggled with dismantling those type of papers and then have to put it together again. A copy would have been nice.
hope the job is a fast one d twins.

Things I am grateful for.....
** Homeschool is done for the day
** A full pot of my favorite soup simmering, packed with a variety of proteins and vegetables. It’s delicious and satisfying, and I can enjoy the whole pot while staying on track with my calorie, macro, and nutritional goals.
** The mustard seeds have arrived, and I now have a good seeds to start planting. Mustard greens can withstand frost and will grow throughout most of the winter here. I plan to experiment with planting plenty of mustard greens in the raised bed garden. While I don’t intend to harvest and eat most of it, I’ll use them as a deterrent for root-knot nematodes. I also plant zinnias and marigolds for their beauty and protective qualities during the summer months. The garden grows an abundance of food but there seems to always be something to learn and do better. The root-knot nematodes and moles are not my friends in the garden.

lucylee, I dream about my late dh sometimes. There are often dreams about a general need for finding the husband/home, and often they are specifically HRH, but sometimes it is definitely my late dh.

MARVELOUS today was HRH being freed from the dermatologist with only the freezing of one spot beside an eye. Yay for that.

We then went through a grocery we seldom get to visit (certainly not me), not exactly on our beaten path. This is Lowes but not the home improvement place - a smallish chain? A little expensive. They have their own generic house brands, and the "Southern Sass" Vidalia onion with peach sauce is something I just love - an excellent, slightly sweeter competitor, for instance, for Texas Pete hot sauce. And lo and behold, I found that they carry Ruth's salads (coleslaw - hurray). Ruth's can hardly be found any more around here but is by far the best prepackaged one, IMO. My ddad swore by it.
it is a flying by day, isn't it?

Ya'll are fast-moving today! ("People come and go so quickly here" by Dorothy in Oz was just quoted in dr's office, lol)

INSTANTITIS - oh, yes, often associated with the mature male of the species, and directed at spouse who seems to have nothing to do.

zinnias sound lovely

They sound intergalactic to me with so many blooms - I am living vicariously through ya'll's flowers.

LadyM's household venturing anywhere near pigsty status sounds highly unlikely, but good job staving it off.
I refuse to overwhelm myself.

This day is so quotable.
and I haven't even gotten to the fire extinguisher.

yay on getting to the store!

I ate lunch by myself - expect for hungry dogs around me - but quiet!!! it was lovely!
dd and mom woke at the same time
I made lunch for both - helper I gave her 2 hours bc mom was sleeping - she enjoyed the quiet too.
she is going to feed mom - dd ate very little but ate something
time to switch laundry - switch
put away on counter and wash all counters and stove. -
put away fruit bowl bc fruit flies are starting to come around

I am going to give myself a no work break.
I think I am going to watch one movie bc I know I will be busy now until 8 pm.

What needs to be done - more:what I am looking at -
A dirty kitchen floor
dog hair first floor
a whole table of stuff in dining room. - laundry - a river orders - mom orders - it is stuff from the entire week.
dh emptied the boxes - I kind of wish he would have left them in the garage instead of emptying the contents on the dining room table.

the mom/pattie parade of needs have started - ;) brother said it's like I have a hospital wing here.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Had my lunch.
Swept the bathroom glad for that task being done now.
Hung up clothes in the basement on the inside line as I no longer have an out side line now.
One item I did not want to put in the dryer yet.
I have taken out the trash ahead of trash day Tuesday.
Mowed

INSTANTITIS
This happens here too. I intentionally avoid telling DH about plans in advance because he tends to hyperfocus and pace around, waiting for the time to arrive. Also, once he knows something is scheduled for a specific time, he struggles if the event gets postponed or canceled. I often remind him that our plans are flexible—like they’re made in jello—and subject to change.

DS17 and friends have volunteered to take DD14 to the city for her bi-weekly hair washing and 30 minutes soaking in the bathtub. Volunteered, yes... but the trip includes me covering gas and getting pizza afterwards.

Invoice bounced. She added a period in her email address and I was cutting and pasting. Sent again.

Dog is walked. Our supper is brats and corn on the cob. Dh is home, but is drowsing in his chair. He has a tooth hurting again. Finally figured out that was why he was so quiet yesterday. Roomba finished its journeys.

Tomorrow I have a finance committee Zoom meeting for the temple at 6 p.m. But I just figured out that Rosh Hashanah is Tuesday of next week, not Wednesday. So I'm cooking Sunday-Monday and have a lot to do between now and then.

Also found out by calling pool maintenance co who is the backup person for the pool and I turned that over to her.

Dfriend M stopped off while walking R uby and came in for a short visit. And dMillie was fine with Ruby visiting so that was good news.

Finished my scanning before the workout, now up to dh to go to safe deposit box.

I need to make a mega to do list for tomorrow. I hate that I have to deal with that meeting. And that my time is limited in the next week. Next Monday we'll be at temple or enroute by now.

LadyM, but all of the teens will be out of the house awhile!
