Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
Morning…
I slept in late this morning because I knew my body needed it. Josh, my PT guy really worked my body yesterday, especially my right should, next and jaw. My body is sore from all he did, but I’m moving much better and not having as many headaches since he started working on my body.
Now I’m doing my morning routine and getting ready to start the laundry because of course it’s Thursday.
I have plants that I need to put outside under my tree today but it’s supposed to rain so I think I’ll just spread the dirt. Let it settle in and do that tomorrow.
Sweetie, needs to go to Home Depot today so I’ll take him at some point. Then I need to get my house ready to set Einstein off. Want to make sure there’s nothing on the ground that he can swallow.
Alexa is playing music from 1965…that should get me going
Waving to you all hope y’all have a good day. Be back later.

Doing better than when I first got up.
Got dressed.
Ate some food.
Up on time 5:30 w/out alarm.
Planning & bujo
done to here.
Fire alerts bc of cold dry winds later in the afternoon today.
So... I need to do some things ahead of that.
Pantry & fridge restock needed.
Need to use the truck.
Could do banking with jeep later or diff. day.
Sun is out and air is pretty good here.
Head is better now it was stuffy earlier.
Package is delayed over a week but that's okay I can finish up my other note books in the mean time no
need to wait for that today.
Have a great one!

Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
I'm finally sitting down for my healthy breakfast. I haven't eaten very well the past few days - before RH because I was just busy and didn't, and the day of, lots of things I don't normally eat and not much protein (mainly braised brisket.) And yesterday, eating some of the goodies in the refrigerator. Because dh did clean up, I just now explored the refrigerator. All the desserts are going to temple later, with the exception of a little bit of rich kugel that is left.
I'm returning to my workout today and will go by temple while out. Dh has gone to CVS again about his CGM (called Medicare this a.m.). He's been told two different things by CVS and his insurance for part D, and now by Medicare.
The dcleaning lady is doing her magic. I'm on the porch staying out of her way.

Taking a break…
Started working around the house. Change the sheets on my bed and went to remake it and when I did, I clobbered my knee on the corner of the wooden bed. Definitely an owie!
In the sea and do it category, I noticed there was dust on my head board so I ended up dusting the entire master bedroom. Finish my morning routines and cleaned up the kitchen.
Knee hurting too much so I put a brace on it and then I asked Sweetie to spread the dirt under the tree while I watered my new plants in their containers.
After that, I worked along the side of my house and trim back some plants and cleaned up the area. It’s garbage day so I wanted to get all the cuttings into the garbage. Can they would pick it up.
By the time I came in the house, I was soaking wet, but decided not to take a shower since I know we’re heading to Home Depot in just a little while and I’ll get all sweaty again.
For now I’m sitting on the couch with ice on my knee watching good old Perry Mason. In a moment I’ll get up and make my brunch.
Laundry is going so it’s a typical Thursday. See y’all later.

Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
What a joy to come here to our SHE village and CUOP. I so enjoy reading your thoughts and doings.
Today has been quite a day, and it’s not even noon yet. I can feel the stress in a way I usually shrug off and ignore. DH has been following me around like a toddler, watching everything I do. If I go to the kitchen, he follows and stands there watching me do things.. If I sit down, so does he. I’m just doing my regular daily tasks, nothing unusual. It started to get to me when I’d turn around to go the other way and find him standing there, so I’d have to wait for him to move or walk around him. I know he just wants to be part of normal life, and I need to be better about including him in what I’m doing or suggesting a different task nearby for him.
I had DH's appointment with the family doctor on the calendar for 1pm today. Yesterday, DH received a reminder call from the doctor's office and told me the appointment was at 10am. Trusting him instead of my calendar, we went to the doctor’s office at 10am, only to be told the appointment was actually at 1pm. I should have trusted my calendar or called the office to confirm, but I didn’t. So, we made an unnecessary trip this morning and will have to go back again in a couple of hours. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not a big deal. I just need to take a breath and focus on my blessings instead of my frustrations.

Yes, DD14 is in 9th grade and absolutely loves her ELA teacher. Mrs. H has been her ELA teacher for five years and has been amazing. They’re currently reading "The Odyssey" and doing activities to bring the characters and story to life. DD14 says her classmates always ask her to read the story aloud because she reads with passion and can pronounce all the character names and places perfectly. One of her talents is public speaking, and she has aced all her ELA tests. Knowing this her speech therapist gave DD14 a timed senior-level ELA test, which isn’t meant to be completed, but she finished it and scored off the charts. Sorry, I got a little carried away talking about DD14. I could just as easily share about her challenges and shortcomings too. Acknowledging...this ELA quiz kid struggles to wash her own hair.Did you tell me she is in 9th grade this year? (That was what I taught for all of my 30 years.)

Waiting at the eye doctor— I’m glad ds didn’t come. This place is running over! I have NEVER seen it even half this crowded!
Tomorrow is another day.

LadyM… I love hearing about your dd and all her successes. Considering every thing in her life I know you must be proud. Perhaps she would enjoy taking a drama class if her school offers it.
Sweetie had his first major meltdown today. It was hard for me to fix his problems cause now he really can’t remeber many things to tell me so it’s difficult for me to help.
Finally solved the problem and I got him to eat his lunch.
My first real glimpse into the future. Time to take a deal breath too.

Re: Thriving Thursday PWYC
Back from the store forgot to get my lunch.
So I pulled one thing out of freezer that had not thawed yet.
Food is put away.
New Projects!!!
I was too excited about a desk I got! It fits the chair I put together about 2 weeks ago I got the last one.
Got help loading it. Unloaded it on a desk on wheels rolled it to the steps, slid it off to the 2nd step put it up on the landing
ran in and got my furniture dolys and rolled it out on the deck got a blanket to put it together on so I do not loose pieces.
I'll have to move the other desk out after I take the sewing machine off.
Got some fun blue yarn with space died areas to knit up later.
Got my TV reset this morning.
----
Had lunch chicken salad San. needed to eat that any way.
Yum & had it on the deck! Fun!
