well thank you d twins I wasn't quite sure where my sanity was before

I worry about him a lot! his saying to dd that she was stupid to talk to mom and that she wasnt' worth anything. telling her that he could mom kill mom when he wants. deep down get to the soul hate. getting mad bc dd younger was hurt.

he got mad, just now, bc they changed the time for mom coming home - earlier - he thinks people are keeping it from him. he assumes people lie to him. dd younger texted him so that he knew it changed.

he play s the cool kind helpful guy - he can charm anyone - it's actually overwhelming bc we know what happens.
I do love him - I am very worried. He doesn't understand that saying horrible things may leave his mind but not others. my girls say they "hate" him. I don't think he knows how to talk to get his feelings said and let others say their feelings.

I do love him - I think he tries - he wants to do good - he does care about mom - this is hard for him even if he pretends he is strong it doesn't bother him. it is what is as he always says. hoping girls can forgive him - maybe in time.

hospice comes Tuesday - the girls want to go with drs. my brother has decided that that's it. praying for dd's and praying for mom. it's hard to accept -

Blessed verbal abuse is still abuse. Just imagine what his wife and girlfriend have to put up with. Is there a possibility you could talk to a lawyer to ask what all of your rights are in dealing with your brother. Tell them time is of the essence, that your mom is nearing the end of her days on earth.

I've been busy today. Lots of shopping. Thankfully I was able to do it alone. Dh looks around and he looks at everything and he takes his time. I had to go to Costco. We were down to one roll of TP. 30 rolls last us a long time. I also went to another food store on the way home. All I need to get for Canadian Thanksgiving(October 13 - I looked it up) is the pumpkin pie from Costco. I even have the whipped cream in a can already. Plus I also have the box of stuffing and the can of whole berry cranberry sauce. Turkey thighs are in the freezer.

LadyM I can't trust what dh thinks are dates or times due to his memory issues. But he can tell me who he went fishing with 40 years ago and what they caught. He also just stands in the middle of whatever I'm trying to do. I will be in the middle of emptying the dishwasher and dh will stand between me and the drawer I need to put a handful of forks and spoons into. They are in my hand and he's just standing there watching. It's not easy some days.

agree - i could see he wasn't happy when he came in - he schmoozed with the helper, schmoozed with the ambulance drivers - super every day man stuff. he is angry with me - I can see it and feel it.He was pissed. he can charm most people. just bc I asked if we could see how mom did and give us a couple days.

we dont' have any rights - he is the head of everything - he threatened he could put her in the home where his gf. is.

the helper has been with him 2 days and she is starting to move towards him

she today - I am so used to doing mom - she said you have to turn her every hour - and other things like I never do it. " I will be here in the morning to do" the care: like I haven't done it all this time. this this and that - oh my gosh. If I knew I would not get a break I would be by myself. she was great with us until he had time with her. geesh I don't like my brother being with these people. He pays them, he schmoozes them, She acted like I didn't know what I was doing. I let it go.

well I am used to this with him. he tips them, does the good ole boy thing, sweet talks them - it's really weird but so many fall for it. he then waits until he is separate and wham - mean nasty viscous.

his girlfriend gets the sweet and nice right now. we know it won't last. but that's not my issue.

he is making me tired. people are making me tired. I am tired of people not reading her chart -
her treating me like I was incapable of taking care of her - We have been great all this time with her- my brother won her over for now. I have had it happen before it will happen again. it's so unhealthy.

I can forgive him, feel for him but I don't think I can deal with him anymore - it's so toxic. truly a smokescreen always the smokescreen
I had promised my family would not affect me and my own family - I can't seem to keep their unhealthy ways out of my life or my families life.

I am tired of dealing with them. when mom passes - she will - I need to stop being near them. being the kind quiet one doesn't work. but I won't change who I am for him.
I have to admit he won.
my spirit is trashed for now.

mom is sleeping - in an hour I will move her and check her pull ups

I found the dowels and the desk is temp. together to see if it fits.
It does no nails brackets yea. it's about an inch. taller than the other desk.
I am going to use the pink chair as the white one goes in the other room better.
The wind showed up.
I put yarn, a basket of a few sewing things in it for staging and took a photo.

Had my dinner.
Trying to reclaim the house.
Did a pick up and put away of the main part of the house and one bedroom.
Some in the sewing one.
Made my bed again. LOL! thanks to ddoggo.

Dishes await and I can do floors on the rainy windy times & days.
BWP awaits as well.

Good News:
Dgd is going home from hosp. tomorrow.
They did beautiful work I saw the before and after pics. and of her incision.

Nancy, that is wonderful news for your family. I hope her incision is so well done that it becomes invisible one day!

Cathy, we missed you for a while. So glad you are here posting with us. I don't think I could go down to one roll of TP if I wanted to, lol, because ddolder bought all that charity TP and we still have a partial giant box. We resist using it, to be honest, because it is sorta harsh. Still nice for company to see it at the ready for a replacement, though, because it's individually wrapped with attractive papers.

blessed, he "wins" or "won" over those he just met and may never meet again, and he loses with those he will know for the rest of his life. Thinking of you as you care for your household.

I am doing a little happy dance because I finished the first ornament and it's hanging on a knob of a drawer in sewing area. Showed it to HRH (who has been keenly aware of the project's ups and downs, lol). Otherwise, I need to hide it for now and keep working on the rest. My dds, especially, will have occasions to bop down the hallway and might see these surprises.

In all honesty, my hand went into cramps several times with the hand sewing, so I'm not over that problem yet. I had thought it was only with crocheting, so I had set that to the side a while, but turns out it's handwork of various kinds. Mostly the left hand, which is holding the work very still while the right hand moves more.

Ddolder and dgsC came over with our mail. We also had some of theirs.

The house smells good this evening because HRH made a fried potatoes and onions skillet meal.

It is thundering and pouring rain. Sigh. Here comes the cold front, I think.

I cleaned up the "Household Notebook, Planners and PocketMod" forum so that all the PocketMod links are up to date, old ones that can't be reached explained, etc. There are other newer helps and tip links these days, also videos. If anyone finds any that are really helpful, let me know and I'll add in.

CI I moved the rolling desk to the butterfly room.
Now the dining room only has one desk in it.
That made the room look better.
I put the drawers back in it and a couple of other things.
s2barefeet happened.
It's windy but not terrible.
Dishes need attn. done & put away.
I did not get to one of my journaling pages.
