I have the donwannas today. I slept poorly - partly the meeting last evening. I feels like this committee doesn't want to actually examine where we over/under on budget? Can't quite figure out what the purpose of the meeting was honestly.

Because leaving home early in the morning for medical tests, I am sooooo off my normal schedule and haven't even started SHE cards today.

On the way home I stopped by local hair salon and asked if they could work DD14 in today. A couple days ago DD14 told me that she wants to get her hair cut. ****GASP!!*** I want to jump at this opportunity while she is willing. ANYway, I will take DD14 for a 2pm hair appt this afternoon.

I texted DS17 to remind him about getting a haircut and told him to choose a place and charge it to our credit card.

I just texted DS17, offering $100 to cut down a small tree growing in the fence line and haul all the wood and limbs to the jumps. This task will require him to coordinate with the neighbors on the other side of our shared fence, whom he affectionately calls "Mom and Dad," so it should be an enjoyable interaction for him. I’m guessing he’ll team up with the 15-year-old living there to get the job done. I anticipate it will take them less than an hour, and they’ll be excited to earn some "easy money."

Five pounds of country ribs are in the Instant Pot, with the top half filled with potatoes cooking alongside the ribs.

DGS27 has been asking repeatedly to meet up with me for a one-on-one outing. I need to carve out time for him. I'm texting with him now. Maybe I can make it a repeat occurrence if I can stack it with taking DD14 to the city for her bi-weekly hair washing & bath. DGS27 and I can meet at a coffee shop during that hour and chat.

Quiet afternoon here! I hope things are quiet at bw2's home this afternoon.

Just finished my Zoom with my mentee, she's close to turning it in. I sure do hope it meets standards. It's so hard to tell what kind of work someone is doing and where they are in the process.

I need to go downstairs and clean up a bit, fold a load of laundry, do a few other things.

three deer a doe and two nearly grown twins.

Got my bday free meal. At my fav. taco stand.

Thrifting successes got some stools I've been on the hunt for a while yea for them.
Some books, and 5 x 7" card file boxes they will fit in the new desk.
A hand weight. Used it.
One Davinci coffee cup.

we have had the most peaceful day - my brother didnt' come like he said he would - grateful for the quiet.

mom has been sleeping a content - waking up saying "hi - there you are".
helper taught dd how to make fried chicken - gosh it was good. I could only eat one bc it's too much for me.
the helper fell asleep as well - adorable seeing mom asleep and care helper sleeping. mom in her bed and helper on the couch.

I am going to cut up some fruit and put it in plain yogurt.

I am celebrating late my bday was the first week of the month.
I'm trying to get to the floors.
I did get the desk off the lifts it was a bit wobbly.
trying to work on the bwp
had to stop and eat got an alert from ddoggo.
Get out mop bucket next and do a bit on the floors as the evening rolls out.

I have mopped and got the chairs & stuff back in place.
Got the the trash dumped.
