L.Ann yes the walk was restorative for the spirits. In advance I wish you Dsis a good prcedure tomorrow.

Hi Peaches ! Hi blessedw !

helia, I wish you a good start to this new phase. Indeed you will have time to spend on other things. And more freedom in the mind probably. Not sure how to word it properly. More space for other thoughts. Maybe for new thoughts.

Gma nice to hear you had a nice time at church. I hope your Dmom gets better soon and you can find some rest.

trissie I hope you find time today or tomorrow to think about your craft project. You make me want to start some craft thing too. I spent 10 minutes this past week on an old stitching project for an autumn-themed decoration for the entrance veranda, but I'm not sure I'll ever finish it. Autumn and winter are good times for knitting or crochet...

Yes the kids enjoyed Jurassic Park, and slept well afterwards. Today they enjoyed the walk near the ocean, it's not a long path, ig goes up and downhill until we reached some king of cape, cliff, whatever, with the ocean all around. Then we walked back and stayed on the beach, and the boys asked if they could take their shoes off to dip their feet in the ocean water... guess what, they had water up to their bellies twenty minutes later. Fully dressed and fully wet. DS7 had water up to the shoulders. But at least they kept laughing with each other all the time wchich is why MrNG and I just watched them, instead of calling them back.
Now everyone will have a good night's sleep, probably, which was on of the goals...

TADAs
a good day, good time together, good walk, kids enjoying each other for awhile
was able to discuss projects with MrNG on the beach
dinner was ready after we got back and all were showered -thanks to 'earlier' me
kids to bed, read stories, clothes ready for tomorrow

TODO
a list for the week, it will be another very busy week
bed early

Hello, everyone!

Trissie, today's lunch menu was roast pork, roast potatoes, Savoy cabbage, roasted carrots and peppers, apple crumble and cream. I've been given lots of apples too!πŸ˜€

I'm you all enjoyed your walk, FFB.

Helia, the B&B certainly sounds interesting!

Good to see you, Blessed!

I'm glad you had a good trip, L.Ann.

Gma, I'm glad you had a good time at church.

Hi, Peaches!

It's been a good day - church, coffee with DF E, cook lunch, fold laundry and PA, walk Freddie, and then just relaxing, much of the time with Matilda on my lap. So not much done to my list!

Let us know which project you choose, trissie.
That sounds like a really nice time for your boys, FFB. WTG keeping priorities in mind - laughing and fun together over dry clothes. BTW, you said that very well. Yes, I will have room for other thoughts.
Glad you enjoyed the time away, L Ann. Are you having the procedure tomorrow? WTG on the photo books!
So good you have so much support in your church community, Gma.
That lunch sounds scrumptious, Kitty. WTG posting lists for next week. One of these days I'll be organized enough to do that.
Hi Peaches.

I haven't done much this afternoon. It's almost 5 pm. I've just arrived at the coffee shop where dh and dd29 are. I hope to make progress grading before dinner at 6-ish. M will probably get started heating things up.

Next:
- payroll: start grading exams
- make list for next week?

Later:
- payroll: start grading exams
- unpack suitcase - wip
- messages: B, DF, MM
- WF run?
- host Sunday dinner for 8? + 2 puppies?
- dinner: frozen pizzas, bread, rot. chicken, Dutch cheese
- after dinner clean up
- duolingo
- health apps

TaDas!
- up; weighed myself - up 1 pound. Could have been worse.
- toiletries unpacked and put away
- coffee
- wrote review for the bnb - it was a little rough around the edges, but it served its purpose for our family. And the things that were issues became a running joke for our family, like the bed with the oversized bed frame OR when the door knob fell out of the bathroom door. LOL! The mouse poo in the silverware drawer was not so humorous.
- email deletions and weather website - high of 81*F today. Sunny! β˜€οΈ We have sun and warm temps for the foreseeable future.
- s2s and self care
- kitchen reclaimed; M helped
- 9:50 - 12:30 out church + coffee hour
- payroll: picked up exams at school
- lunch
- text B
- time to veg - puzzles, 1 show
- coffee shop with dh + dd29

Thank you, Helia! I feel it gets the week off to a good start if I write out as much as I can Sunday evening. Then, when everything falls apart and I start feeling overwhelmed like last week, I have an "aide memoire" so I can see what I *should* be doing and when! :D

That's how I use my lists here too, Kitty. :) They kind of help me answer the question, "What am I supposed to be doing?" when I get lost/ things go differently from the plan.
