All I know about Christmas: We will be hosting the usual crew, minus ds + F who won't yet be flying with their 2 month old baby. So. . . I suppose that R will be the single houseguest staying at our house. M will be going home to Florida. (She'll be here for Thanksgiving.) And for the festivities, we'll include the girls and the Cs.

My last day of work before Christmas is. . . Tuesday, Dec. 23. Really? WHICH students are going to show up that day? LOL! Many will be going home for Christmas --- or actually maybe not so many depending on the geopolitical situation at the time and whether they'll be able to get back into the country again.

It is 4:40 pm. I am very tired but drinking tea trying to wake up. I need to get a fresh veggie for dinner tonight. I think dd27 is bringing Fable over here around 6?

Harriet thank you for the invite to the other sections. I need to get more active in the health threads. And the other ones too.

Ok well it does look like I am going out to dad's. We managed to connect dad and this lady oversees the home care and other senior services I think. She will probably tell what stage mom is at and then see what dad might be open to. Maybe she even will have advice for the other hurdles he's running into.

I finished the kitchen and laundry room and then decided to go to town. Cat food for all. And I picked up a vacuum sealer that we meant to get for a while. After I get back I will take ds to check out the cleats. They have some. Then we'll get busy in the kitchen.

I dumped a couple tomato plants and some of the flowers outside. One step too cold for the begonias. Think I'm gonna take a little break for a bit and then head out.

yes, I have thought about Christmas, but I can't do anything about it for now.
Mother has been out of isolation from covid, but is still very very fatigued and I am having issues with the NH.
Will meet with the director of nursing Thursday afternoon, along with the state ombudsman.
Been to the city this noon with dfBS for her haircut, then back home, then to same city to be with Mom for a while, then back for Wednesday chruch. Then to her house to water a few things outside and take in the mail, oh I forgot the plants in the window! tomorrow....
Now heading back soon to tuck her in for the night.
