11:00 joy = spending time in the garden. I harvested 5 cucumbers and 34 okra pods. I still have peppers and tomatoes ready to harvest but my arms & hands were already full. I ate one of the cucumbers before I got inside the house. Mmmmhhh good.
Every month, three financial SHE cards appear at the start, and I’m currently working on them. One of these cards is for withdrawing cash from the bank. It helps me keep track of how many $1, $5, $20, and $100 bills are needed to get through the month. I compare this with the leftover cash from last month and make a list of the required denominations. After my doctor’s appointment, I’ll stop by the bank to complete that monthly card.
Homeschool is finished. I just finished checking it.

Dh and I went out for lunch to a large buffet restaurant. We both had too much. Dh is laying down for a nap. I'm going to join him.
I turned the furnace on this morning just to make sure it was working. It was.
I am taking a day off. Sort of. I took out the compost and recycling. I've brought the compost bin back up the driveway after it was emptied. All the cats were on the driveway when the recycling truck rumbled up to the end of our driveway. All 3 cats turned and sprinted up to the house/garage area and then looked back at the truck all at the same time.
I did some cross stitching this morning.

Twins…I just heard on the National news this morning that the cases of really bad colds are much higher than usual for this time of the year. No reasons were given for this.

Gee, blessed. I was feeling a little sorry for myself this morning when the REPLACEMENT for the incorrect top arrived but turned out to be the same mistaken white one instead of the black I'd ordered... .. again. But having to wait another several months for a chair (while they have the money you paid) is WAY less funny. Even though you do have possession of the matching ottoman, it isn't as valuable a thing when it has to sit there without its chair.
"it will be interesting what they will send next."
I would probably hold out hope in your much more important situation, too, but I'm returning for the money this time.
blessed, have you been able to needlepoint?
Cathy, I see, is enjoying her cross stitch.
LadyM, I meant to tell you that I'm sorry your dsonil didn't get the news he'd hoped.
Twins', I guess you really do have a cold rather than just allergies. I was hoping it would be fleeting. Get Well Soon.
I admit it - I've spent more time figuring out how cute things I've seen in photos were made than on my housework.
Up Next : The Call of Duty - kitchen!

Re: Try it Thursday PWYC
Dh is gone back to temple. I tried to nap while kugel was baking but don't think I really dozed off. I went ahead and ate some of the one I left for us. It's good, not too sweet. I really loved the one that a friend brought for Rosh Hashana - it was richer and sweeter than mine. Because of dh I've tried to reduce the sweetness, although there's enough carbs in the milk/half and half to raise his blood sugar.
I'm debating whether to watch/listen or try for a nap again.

Hi all! This website is my new try for Thursday
My name is Michele and my Mom is Harmony. First, thank you all for all the sweet cards. She has been so touched. She talks so highly of you ladies!
She has really missed coming on here. Unfortunately, she can't remember her login credentials so I've created this account so she can be back in touch. I myself need to get organized too!!!
