How exciting to have you here, dilenamd! RR (Rambling Rose) mentioned Harmony just this a.m. - is that how you were drawn here by some cosmic force to be with us?

O, Oh, OH,
We are so happy to hear from you, (((((((M))))))), dilenamd, sweetie! I don't even know you and yet you are in danger of me pinching your cheeks right this minute, saved only by distance. Several of us may need tissues. When lucylee gets here, she will need two boxes. If you could hang out with us, dilenamd , we would love it. Your amazing Mom (as you know) is our absolute bestie. Unless I am mistaken (and me being mistaken does happen all the time), since ya'll know the name/handle Harmony, all you need is a new password and, in theory (and sometimes my theories take a while to become practical), we have the ability to change the password to one you choose and Harmony can waltz right in here. Do you still have the same email account address that begins with part of your state's name? Let me know and I'll email to contact ya'll. It is not all left up to a scatterbrained person. My husband, Twins' Mom and LadyM actually know what they are doing technologically, and I think trissie does, too, so I think a new password can happen. Eventually... ..

Re: Try it Thursday PWYC
Well, guess what? The best laid plans and all that -- I never got that nap. Not at all.
Around noon, my cousin called me and wanted to take me out to lunch. She has asked before -- she's actually been trying to take me out since she retired, about a year ago. But you know, life. Her husband is self-employed, HVAC, and works unreal hours, her son, dil, and grands take up a huge amount of her time too, and we just haven't gotten together. So we went to a local restaurant, then came back to my house, and at 4:30, I said, "Oh my -- did I tell DS I would pick him up at 4:30???" So I had to rush her on her way and go get DS for the ballgame. DDIL had made it home in time to go with us, along with dgd, of course. We made it in plenty of time even though I was a little late.
The ballgame. Well, it WAS exciting. We lost 14-6, but we were moving the ball in the last few seconds and just ran out of time. I felt so sorry for our little quarterback. DS said some of his teammates were giving him a hard time, and it definitely was not all his fault. He is one of the smaller players, but he is usually one of the best players on every team he plays on, whatever sport it is -- and has been since t-ball! I did see DGS talking to him on the sideline and DGS was patting him on the shoulder, trying to encourage him. Of course... in a close game like that, dgs did not see any action. However, when we started home, DDIL complaining a little bit because he hadn't gotten any playing time in games that were decided before the last seconds, and DS asked him if he had enjoyed the season, and he said, "Yes. If I hadn't enjoyed it I wouldn't be planning on playing next year."
Of course, you know Nana... I'm thinking, "EEEK! Next year he will be in ninth grade and he'll have to practice against SENIORS."
DS said as they were leaving, some girls were waving at him and calling his name. DGS apparently just shrugged it off (hopefully he waved back at them) and told DS, "I don't even know who those girls are."
After the game, we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant and I just wasn't very hungry. I ordered the Mexican dip appetizer, which was basically the stuff you make with Rotel tomatoes, cheese, and hamburger meat. I've been craving that ever since I bought that crock pot, LOL, but not enough to make a big pot of it for myself! I brought home about half of it and some chips.
I still have a lot of wet laundry that needs to be hung up to dry, and DGS left his uniform in the car for me to wash. I must be feeling better; I don't mind that he knows I'll take care of it.
DDIL says I may have Covid. I told her we'll never know because I refuse to be tested. Musinex, Chloroseptic lozenges, Aleve, and Imodium are my friends.

I did do some dusting in the liv. room.
Got the summer things put away.
Rolled up the hose to mow but it rained and it really raining again outside now.
After dinner I got my dishes done up.
Welcome and welcome back! To Harmony & family!
