I was out and steppin’ early before coffee this morning with my little friend.

Came home fed her and made my coffee.

I am not going to class today. Spent most of yesterday with my leg up and wrapped in a heating pad and it seems to be bit beter

I have several loads of laundry to fold and later my coffee gathering

I plan to conga through the library downtown today. I've s2s-ed and am about to walk the ddog. After that I'll get my breakfast/brunch and head out. My cold is better, just a little sniffly this morning.

No dinner planning, we're going to the river to have Shabbat dinner with A and V and their out-of-town friends.

today is car and purse day.
mom is sleeping.
for now it is quiet in the house - it's very nice in the moment.
I have had coffee and breakfast.
it's was lovely!!! (except for dogs barking lol)

My big slice taken out of the day is 2 long appts at a distance. I'm wondering if there is anything besides a book I could take along to do. It's hard to get any sewing ready for doing out of the house when you are pretty much a machine sewer (sewist is a newer way of saying that, I've seen). Also, my finger dexterity is not quite "there" yet. HRH is mostly worried about the commuter traffic and whether we can avoid that on the way back. He wants to go a little early, at least, to try seeing if that helps. Generally, it doesn't. They're either ready for you or they're not. Nothing today should make me feel bad on the way home, though.

It seems when there's an update, I have to learn my computer all over again in some ways. Spent a long time just finding the way to post a photo from my computer into A,C and N thread yesterday, but finally saw where the right words have been hidden this time. HRH is going to help me learn about passwords here when we get home. My rule of thumb is always right it seems - the way to do something well is to have already done it once yesterday.

Ramblin' and blessed's description of quiet coffee moments makes me think of the old International Coffee commercials - so calming! I should start acting like the old Maxwell House ones and see if the percolator pop-pop-pops can be set to the tune of a Conga.

btw - Announcement yesterday was that that company will temporarily rebrand and be called "Maxwell Apartment" for one year, coinciding with a sale, responding to the high cost of coffee bean imports.

Dh and I went to Costco. He wanted his card cancelled. I wanted a pumpkin pie. We have agreed that it might get eaten before Thanksgiving, but that's okay because after a Thanksgiving meal we won't have room for pie. We will eat it in the next week and enjoy it.

It's an absolutely gorgeous day here and NO WIND!! That makes it a five star day.

mom is washed up, changed, her sheets fixed so that I can move her if I need to, nail polish removed, nails cut, nice smelling cream for a massage done, she ate very well - 10 am . looking spiffy in her new cloths.

I will feed her at 2ish and then at 6:30/ 7:00
