pwyc Saturday October 4, 2025 CHORE BINGO Saturday

Post by blessedw2 »

Lets have a little fun: how about a reboot of d Harriet's bingo Saturday (2011)

Remember this one from d harriet:
Remember this "board" game from our past? :D

Important rule: since players only have to have 5 numbers to win big in regular BINGO, even if you only have a few chores, you can still play.

Participate whether you have your own chores or just want the fun of telling other people what to do!! ;)

Give us only numbers in your post at first but privately have your own chores already assigned to those numbers (Shhhhh). It can be the chores that will take you through a few hours, or enough that you plan to spend the whole day. There can even be... ... (dun, dun, DUN...) procrastinated tasks.

And then each person who comes in can suggest their choice of number for you to complete. (No, let's not say, "everyone complete number three" - everyone's list is obviously sending out different vibes!!! )
I've got a 5x5 that I made last night, and then I've added 1 more chore this a.m., so

1
2
3
4
5
6

Is my Bingo card for today. How mysterious.

let's have some fun...

I had a "middle of the night" 3 hour chunk without being able to sleep. Dh said going to bed too early will do that to me. He's right, of course. I didn't have a middle of the day nap like he did. Any way... I actually did some tidying in the library last night. Quiet, thoughtful shifting of stuff.

I thought that would mess up my entire morning, but I woke up and got out of bed before 9:30.

I've done one major thing and there are 4 more things on my short list of regular things. Time to get up and do something else. I was thinking the I did "worst first" but 5 things on that list qualified. (Hint... all 5 involved stinky garbage that has to be taken outside.)

It's a warm and windy day here with blue skies.

Dh wants to bring in a load of wood later.

I have switched the washing over to the dryer.

Bathroom and kitchen garbage have been taken outside.

Sorted through a pile of books that were on the island. Most of them will be donated to my favourite thrift store.

All the cats have had their morning treats.

I finally put away the exterior part of my medium crock pot. It was under a pile of books on the island. Even though we aren't having anyone over for Thanksgiving, I still want to clear off the island. After moving some stuff around in the library, it injected some good ideas into my brain regarding what should go where. The island and library had been too stagnant for too long, so I'm glad I finally "blew up the beaver dam" sort of thing. In other words, the blockage is gone and now my organizational river is free flowing again. Maybe the fall/autumn coolness has a lot to do with it.

Next up... three stinky litter boxes.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Good morning

(((Harmony)))) if you are able to read this, I hope you know that you are loved and always a part of our SHE family.

I love playing games with DSHE friends.

I started my day enjoying the early morning sky while tending to the garden and feeding the fish. After washing my hair, I sent DS17 off to work with some friendly banter, took a 30-minute walk at the park with DH, enjoyed my coffee, and now I’m relaxing in the recliner while planning the rest of the day.

DS17 requested I restock the flavored water packets so i got a couple hundred of them ordered. He is the only one in the family that likes flavored water packets so this will last him about 3 months.

In my quest to remain curious.......I got some foam curlers like used decades ago and decided to try them in my hair. I have the curlers in my hair now and am waiting for hair to dry before finding out what happens.

it takes time that I don't think of when caring for mom
dd older got her dressed in regular cloths again. dd older washed her down - dd's and I lifting her on the Sara steady - she is starting to get stronger for the first time
she is up and can't walk yet but is sitting - and asked what happened and why did she go to the hospital.

I don't know that I'll be playing chore bingo with you today, bw2! Dh will be out for the afternoon so I have a block of unexpected time for genealogy.

I had a good time at the library yesterday - didn't find much of interest but did fulfil some of the requirement of "reasonable exhaustive research." Got home perhaps 3:30ish, ate and walked dog and hung out a bit and then we went to the river for Shabbat dinner with A and V and their out of town friends. Past 10p.m. when we got home.

Dh went to Torah study this morning and then came home for a bit.
