I dealt with a dreaded phone call that I have been putting off for far too long.

Dh is watching football.

Food to feed hungry teens seems to be never ending need. Somedays I have ideas and other days I just do the best I can. Today is a doing the best I can type of a day. This morning I made a cookie sheet pan of Grilled cheese & ham sandwiches, some ham & cheese quesadillas and a grilled cheese hoagie just because there was a single hoagie hanging out on the counter top looking like it needed to be used.
Random information....DS17 dips his grilled cheese sandwich in catsup. That just seems so wrong but what do I know. I've never tried it (and don't intent to)

DD14 wasn't interested in any of those things so she made scrambled eggs and bacon for her breakfast.

Another meal prepared for the family today is sliced brisket, mashed potatoes and salad. The mashed potatoes are the main draw for my carb loving teens. They pile all kinds of toppings on them ....cheese, ranch dressing and catsup to name a few.

number 3 done - clean out one cabinet - done.
cleaned sink - then dh brought in his dishes - but he did rinse them.
mom is still sleeping and I know we have to waker her up soon.

LadyM I have always dipped my grilled cheese sandwiches in ketchup. Everyone I know does the same. Some people insist that potato chips are a part of that particular meal as well. (Plain Lay's.)

I watered the tomatoes and picked three more.
Moved the lawn chairs back to where I like them.
Did up the dishes got em put away too.
Had dinner.

I didn't get a bingo but I did a lot.
dishes are washed, sink is clean, counters washed with bleach water, mom is bed, I put on the quiet man for her after dinner - she even washed her part of the table.
dd's and I washed her down after she went to the bathroom. she needs help with it. (she had lost so much weight in the hospital and she was small anyway.
