I’ve been busy today… up early before sunrise to walk my little friend.

Came home, had coffee and went to my gym class. Head to pet smart to buy some different dog food. She’s very picky.. one day she loves something, the next day she won’t touch it

Stopped at Michael’s and found a Christmas gift for my dgd. Then headed to Sam’s.

Returned home, ate my lunch and am now about to help Sweetie on his computer so he can pay bills. All the things I bought at Sam’s are still sitting on my counter.. I already put the perishables away.

Sweetie is again putting on his yesterday underwear and socks. I figured this out when I went to do the laundry on Thursday. I’ve been trying to put them in the hamper before I go to bed at night, but I missed last night.

When I question him about it kindly this morning he got miffed. This type of behavior is happening more and more now. Some days he’s as sweet as pie and other days, not so much.

WTG to everyone working so hard here! I worked on the DAR stuff this morning into the afternoon, had lunch and then spent some time prepping for the Zoom with an NGSQ study group. That was 30 min, at 3:30, so just finished. Good discussion, they had me talk a little about the case study and process from portfolio to published article.

This morning I also got an email about talking to a small genealogy group at the Chattanooga Public Library on 18 Oct so I'm doing that.

Dh is bowling tonight - he was out for awhile this afternoon. I have leftover grilled chicken for my supper.

I might do some creative stuff stamping stuff soon. Or I might continue with this laborious DAR stuff. One of my accountability group buddies was in the study group I met with - it was good to see her. We both need to get busy on our renewals.

I am redoing my bathroom cards - things got worn of time. I went back to our d Indiana's focus list that sweet harriet put up.
I am a bit frustrated that d helper doesn't take it on her own to wake up d mom. She would let her sleep all day.

RR - How much does Coco eat? I could only feed our Micro 1/4 cup of food a day. It seemed like such a small amount of food so I increased it to 1/3 cup of food. DGS29 told me to stop it because I was making Micro overweight. So I returned to the daily 1/4 cup and it worked well.

After DD14's autism evaluation, I feel hopeful. We spent a solid hour with the doctor, who described herself as a holistic pediatrician specializing in autism. Afterward, I asked DD14 for her thoughts on the doctor, and she described the doctor as highly intelligent but not pretentious. We'll receive the results and diagnosis in two weeks. I truly hope the time, energy, money, and emotions invested in this process will be worth it.

I stopped by Whataburger on my way out of the city and picked up dinner for the family.

I feel like a soaked feed sack—completely worn out and useless. I need a break.

Big push toward getting things tossed today. Even cleaned out the vehicles. Lots went into the cans for the truck in the a.m.

Extra work in kitchen and den.

Mopped the mud room.

HRH went out and picked up scripts, a few groceries including swiffer wet cloths we'd run out of.

Ddolder called to remind about trash day but of course we were well on our way to finishing with that already. She and one of the boys were on a walk.

All this to try to be TACTICAL about a construction/cabinetry day here tomorrow.

I'm not so happy that HRH called and made an appt to get the car into the shop tomorrow morning, when it's simply not a priority yet. Why? Tomorrow will not be a good day to do without the car, while we have no water and no electricity for unknown parts of the day, plus power tools humming in the kitchen at other times. If ever I might hope to keep TACTICAL options open and have a way to at least pick up some take-out, tomorrow could well be it.

He says we'll have the truck to fall back on, but even though I'm fine with driving it myself on short trips around here, I'm extremely uncomfortable getting in and out of the passenger side. In fact, just not doing it. So, he'll be disappointed if he thinks I'd go with him. The guys may wish someone would stay here while they are working anyway.

Sounds like a very good day for blessed's household.

Awww, LadyM, a soaked feed sack - sorry you feel so exhausted. Hopeful for the new doctor and info.
