Happy birthday, Cathy!!! :D :D :D

Happy belated birthday, Sunny!!! :D :D :D

And may I say, what a joy to have Sunny AND Harmony together again with us!!! :D

Also agreeing with Twins that is sooo good to have you feeling stronger, Harriet!!! :D
In fact, from the looks of things, you are making up for lost time! Hope tomorrow goes better than you expect!

Well. Tactical Tuesday? Nope... not quite.
another "most productive day of the week"
Nooo... not exactly.

However -- when your dgd hugs you and says she had "SOOO much fun today, Nana," I guess that's productive enough for one day. I made a little extra time to play with her since I was feeling guilty for being so "off" the last few days when she was here. We played computer games and read some out of her new book from the book fair, and played some sort of game she made up -- it's based on a video game, but we were using the figures in the Nativity play set. (I hope the Lord understands we were not intending to be sacrilegious.) We also went through the house because she had "some questions about some things in your house" -- what's in this drawer, that cabinet, etc. And when we heard the rain pouring down, we went out on the porch and sat in the swing and watched the rain.
It was a good day.
I did wash a load of clothes (but need to hang them to dry) and she and I try to repair the broken handle on my toilet but as she said, "This is a Granddaddy and Daddy job; not an us job." (I understand how to DO it; I just can't get the broken part to loosen enough to remove it.)
Then we went to the church meeting and both dgrands were exceptionally good for the duration of it -- of course, dgd was on her phone (with iPods in her ear) the whole time. DGS may have been occupied with his phone some, but for some of it, he was obviously listening to the speakers.

Lovely voice... oh my, you are kind, blessed. I hate my voice. Every time I hear myself on tape, I think, "WHY on earth did they allow me to stand in front of people and TALK for 30 years???" I sound very flat to myself... and I sound like you would imagine someone who has lived in Alabama all her life would sound. But yes, such as it is, it is back. I am still having a LOT of congestion and sinus drainage, but I feel okay.
Thank you all for your good wishes while I've been under the weather!

Nancy, I completely forgot about my trash Sunday night, until it was too late to put it out (I didn't want to walk to the road in the dark.) Thank goodness the can is big enough that I can get two weeks' worth in it.
I also forgot to do my allergy shots Sunday AND Monday. I guess I better do that tonight.
I just really didn't do anything at all Sunday, except attend the two church services where ds' group played. I told the dgrands to stay home with their parents between services, and I just slept. Also slept very late Monday because dgs was here, and as he is becoming a typical teenager, he slept later than I did!
I also have to do some work on my card file before I go to bed tonight, blessed. It has really suffered since I've been so lazy the past week.
And EEEEK -- a snake! Good for you on taking care of that, Nancy!

(((Rose))) I know it must be so hard to adjust to your Sweetie's changing moods. I know you will handle this with so much grace and wisdom, but it has to be difficult.

Twins -- that is quite an honor, I think, to be asked to speak at the library meeting. WTG!

(((LadyM))) I hope all goes well for dd14 and the diagnosis will help her -- maybe just by confirming what she already believes to be true.
I also hope you get some good rest tonight!

So, yes, it is after midnight, but I am going to hang those clothes up -- they are currently draped over the exercise bicycle. (Yes, I know that is not its intended use.)
Take allergy shots.
Organize cards for tomorrow.
Perhaps make some notes re: lesson for tomorrow night.
Tomorrow is another day.
