Waving to all as I try to gather some energy after coming home! It's 6:30 and I left home at 7:05. Add to that that I am coming down with the cold that DBD had, and you get the picture! But no rest for the wicked, as they say! At least I am working from home tomorrow and then there's the weekend!

Well, J is also going on the outing to the lake. How can they all do that? They all work part-time like me - though I have the most hours. They all have 2-3 kids at home. . .If I'd been told about this outing on Tuesday rather than last night at 11 pm, maybe I could have organized my life so I could have gone. . . I'm mystified. They did something similar last Thursday - but with more of a heads up.

Thank you for starting us off, trissie. Twelfth Night has always been one of my favourites.
You understand about cramming belongings into a small space, but you have a house full of people and their belongings in your small space, so my hat's off to you.

Woohoo on the presentable house with no notice, Kittykatt. If I can just get my apartment to the point where I'm comfortable with it, that would be a win for me.

Bama, I have a sneaking sympathy for your dh and the smoke detector. I turn mine off with a hammer. The apartment changed ours a year or so ago, and the new ones are so loud that I have ringing in my ears every time it goes off.

Well, a backyard waterfall sounds nice, but when it's an unplanned one, kittykatt! Do roadworks stop over winter in the UK? Here, what's not done by end of November, has to wait till March. There was this one year when they closed a road (the only reasonable bus route to the twins' school) to do road works Nov 25-Dec15. There was huge snowfall around Dec5, and so the buses were going alternate (narrow backroad with a very steep turn that lead to a bus in the ditch once a week) till March.
L.Ann, I can hear you on DD getting sick over too many changes!

Back from my work out. Got a bit sweaty. Dropped the letters for the trustee in the mail beforehand. Next, focus on grading. Dh has a 7 pm meeting tonight so he wants to eat early which means I need to start cooking around 5 pm. It's now 3:11.
