More Small Things Monday PWYC

I'm still thinking about Lucylee's small things yesterday, and Harriet's sustainable goal post from Saturday....lots of thinking and I need to get busy doing some of those small things today!

d twins thank you for a lovely start!!!

it's always good for me to remember it is not the large things that get things done - it's the small steps of progress that get the big jobs done. I have a tendency to see the All or nothing work of my home and life. That's not how things are accomplished.
thank you!

I will continue to do one thing at a time, even if it takes me all day. I woke up in pain during the early morning, but waited until just now to get up for the day. I've taken 2 meds and I will be taking the pain med as soon as the toast pops up. ("take with food")

Thank you for the start this morning Twins' Mom!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving !!

(((Cathy)))) I hope the meds kick in quickly as healing happens.

My project of the day is... drum roll... OKRA!
** There are a couple of piles of harvested okra to process and freeze.
** Cut down the okra plants and pull up the massive roots from the raised beds.
It’s a simple project, which makes it easy to overlook and let slide. I’m determined to get it done and wrap up this part of the 2025 summer garden.

Today is day #4 of 10 days fall break.

UP in the night three ish maybe two not sure did not get back to sleep
leg cramp got up walk it off and then went back to bed got up again b/c I forgot to have water.
Back to be but could not sleep up again at 4:30.
Took pickle juice and hydration focus.

Got a few things organized in the sewing zone & found what I've been looking for this past week yea!
Basement walk about done took silk flowers down that were from summer decor.
Have pillows to go down to a tote in a bit.
Meat loaf Monday.
Music Monday!

One small thing that helped me last night was to do my planning in my bujo then.
Gave me a better focus.
Plus I skipped a later show I'll catch the replay on it.

Updated my post in J & C more good news for Dgd as she begins week #3 yea!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It is Sweetie and Ramblin' Rose's Anniversary today.

I shall buckle down and learn the concepts of prerequisites for sustained growth through technological progress. The very basic concepts, I'm sure.

Best travel wishes for Twins'.

, how is the sting?

OKRA day. (smile) Frying is nice. Once Jerry Clower and friend Marcel Ledbetter pondered what happens to boiled okra when given to the pot-lickin' dogs. There is a fight, you see, for sluuuurrpp! only one dog knows what they are fighting about.

Up and walked my little friend before sunrise.

Came home and watched the news with a smile in my heart for those who were set free.

Did not go to class… stayed and watched the news at Sweeties request.

Made breakfast for us both.

Last night it occurred to me that today is our wedding anniversary. Had a good laugh about that. Said something to Sweetie and his response was.. I guess will go out to eat tomorrow night. Sometimes when asked we can never remember how long we’ve been married and Sweetie always asks if he’s beat my old marriage years.

We’ve been married 16 years, but celebrate the time we reconnected ever year which has been 25 since we’ve been with each other.

When asked how long have we’ve know each other before we got together we just laugh.. Sweetie moved next door to me when I was 10 and he was 13. We were best friends but never dated until he graduated HS at 18 and moved away.

Itecently showed my friends Sweeties HS picture and all agreed he was quite handsome. They were surprised we never dated but back then seniors didn’t date freshmen.

Done my morning routines including my bathrooms. Have a load of laundry goin as well. My tummie and gut are still not quite right. Be glad when they are better.

Harriet… thx you for the well wishes ❤️
