Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
Happy Anniversary RR & Sweetie!

do one thing at a time, even if it takes me all day.
I want to play this game and just focus on one thing without worrying about how long it takes. That's one of the great freedoms of fall break—I'm not constantly on a time crunch.

Okra project has been a success. I might have enough okra to last me until next summer garden. I love okra and learned from Trim Healthy Mama recipes how to use it in so many ways.

The next project is to use window blinds to make plant markers. I have been testing for a couple months to see if this would actually work and it does better than any of my previous plant markers. Now it is time to go from the testing phase to the final product.

Busy morning in the village so far! I think I'll be on page two (echoes of Paul Harvey? )

I'm underway with packing et al this a.m. Dog walked, although she's still seems discontent. May suspect I'm packing? I'll work out at two today, and if all is well, head toward Nashville from there. I'll be going in while traffic is outgoing, at least. My brain is pinging with hundreds of things this a.m. Dh has gone to endocrinologist appointment, may go on to bowling from there? I don't know.

I haven't had breakfast/brunch yet. Waiting a bit, I had an extra cup of coffee that filled me up.

At TOTH I'll work for 45 min to finish up packing and a.m. routine, and water outside plants, and fill meds box for the week...Don't know if I can do all that in 45 min, but you know what they say about a lot of small tasks adding up!

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians! (We don't see much of bittersweet either.) And congrats to RR and Sweetie! (I do remember when you two got married - surely not 16 years?)

What, Harriet?
I shall buckle down and learn the concepts of prerequisites for sustained growth through technological progress. The very basic concepts, I'm sure.
Hope the leg cramps are gone for good, Nancy. I hate that feeling in the night when one starts. Meat loaf/Music Monday? Fun!

And Cathy is hurting again? Lots of liquids but keep moving when you can I think? Are you needing to "strain" your production for "solids," or will they scan you again in a few days? or is it a matter of the pain going away?

And LadyM has okra day underway. I love it that you're putting the garden to bed. I leave the flowers a good part of the winter so the birds can have seeds, etc. I have to admit, I'm not a big okra fan although there are several places here that have a grilled okra appetizer (small pods) that is tasty. Dh actually recommends it.

bw2, I think a lot of us are "all or nothing." So much to do (and so much we want to do, even if it's not totally necessary) that we get discouraged. You are such a positive influence here...

Whoops, it's well past the TOTH. I'll get started now for 45 minutes.

Successfully completed mini projects -
Okra
Plant markers
POA and death certificate found

DBIL called to say he received a letter in the mail addressed to deceased MIL (he lives in her home). According to the letter she has $2100 sitting in a bank account that none of her kids knew about. That is strange because DH is POA and closed out her other account at that same bank after she died. Why would they wait 3 years after her death to let them know about this account? Makes no sense but whatever. I am thrilled that in under 2 minutes I was able to find the POA and death certificate papers so DH can go close out that account and split the $ with his siblings.

Next mini project.
Mix electrolytes for the next month

Twins' Mom I "should" be filtering the urine through coffee filters, but it is extremely small and I don't think I would be able to see it, so I haven't been filtering it. There is no further CT scan scheduled at this time. Pain levels will let me know when it's gone. Pain completely stops when it's gone. I cannot see any blood in my urine, unlike Friday night at the hospital. There was lots of blood then.

I have taken out bathroom garbage and given all the cats their treats for going outside. Tortie will stay in and continually yell at me because she thinks she can get her treat by yelling. I always pick her up and put her outside. There are days that the other 2 will get their treats before they go out, because both of them are in and out from sun rise to sun set.

d twins d lady we had a $1000 for d mom in law and d father in law - since I was the same name as d mil and dh is a jr. they contacted us - his dad's aunt had them as a beneficiary. No one would have known if it wasn't for dh/my name were the same as d parents/in/law

d twins - I believe d harriet was using the excerpts from the explanation of the Nobel prize 2025 - for economics.

ah, bw2, it's LadyM who has the "found" bank account to split. Yes, they should have done it back then, LadyM. And, the Nobel Peace prize, got it now. Was thinking of it in terms of Harriet's sustainable goals on Sunday.

Not quite done with what needs to be happen this a.m. Turned out that Roomba (dh calls it the Rhumba, like the dance...) wasn't on its little charging prongs when it last docked, so it needed charging before running. I got it charged a bit and started it, won't be able to finish on this charge, tho.

Dh is back home, needs to head out to bowling but has called insurance re medication change that endocrinologist floated. His a1c was 6.5, could be worse but I wish he would get it down a bit. He's honestly not very compliant with what he eats.

Working again, at perhaps ten after the hour, for 45 min or until done. Need brunch so I can leave here at 1.30ish for workout. I'll change clothes there after working out before heading for Nash-vegas.

We're on fire today! Nineteen posts already?

I'm done and eating my brunch. Hoping my tummy isn't bothered by working out at two p.m. I think the last thing for me to do is to pack my laptop, the one I'm using now. Rhumba is paused for more charging.

Tonight I'll use some time to work on a research plan for the next two days. I'm primarily researching Burns and Raper surnames and their friends, family, acquaintances, neighbors, in Blount, Monroe, McMinn, and Roane counties of Tennessee. I have some other research targets saved to Evernote with a tag for the TSLA and To do, so need to review and see what I can do this trip for other families.
