Happy Saturday!!!

what kind of day is it for you?

going out with friends,
being outside
being inside
working on sewing things/creativity
cook?
what will it be.

how are your dailies?
How about the weeklies?
are you almost ready for Halloween?

name one thing you hope to do?
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I had a rough night sleeping - mom talked in her sleep a lot - she called me once but it was nothing.
I woke at 5:30 and I went back to sleep bc I knew I would have to take a nap but with mom up I can't.
Our helper won't be here today. Even with the helper I am busy with mom during the day.

my job I want to finish:

go through all the meds/ dogs/me/ medicine chests etc.
clean up and put away
clean the top shelf in laundry room - fix it.
vacuum first floor and rinse
it is always a joy to be here with you!

mom will need to get up and be fed

I ate breakfast
dogs went out
they need to eat. dd younger took the dogs out individually and then together and let them run off some steam - then she and I worked on their nails - they are all fed.
mom is washed up by dd older and I - dd younger did her hair etc.
dd older and I fed mom because she was so tired today
yesterday was a big day and she is so tired today. we just finished and mom is in bed again - 12:00 pm

cards are on the counter

I didn't get any cards done - busy though.

Good morning

We finally have rain, and it’s so welcomed and needed! It’s expected to stop around noon, which lines up perfectly with the Fall Festival street fair in our tiny town. The main street gets closed to traffic so vendors and food trucks can set up along both sides. There will be live music, performances, beauty contests, and the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Small Town. It’s small-town living at its best! :)
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.
When life gets difficult, learn to sing & dance in the rain.

Dh and I went to the bank to close one of our accounts. Then we went to Burger King for lunch.

Now dh is watching tv and I'm headed out for a stitching group.

I'm home from the local library. I talked to a small group - perhaps 10 people plus a couple of library people? that was at 10 a.m. but I was at the library before 9 when they opened. This a.m. the local protest was only a long block from the library so I knew parking would be a problem, and I was taking a some books with me and my bag was heavy. I didn't want to walk a long way.

Everything went well - after I did some research/organizing research and planning. Dh is out. He left earlier than I did this a.m. to volunteer at the Rotary fundraiser. It's "I smell smoke" and it barbeque pork, ribs, and brisket. He came back through and has gone to the local college football game. A friend has skybox tickets and his wife doesn't go, so dh has frequent invitations.

My alarm was set for 6:30 a.m. this morning so I'll probably nap. My Instacart order was just delivered and I'm eating leftovers from our dinner out last night. I need to put away perishables and settle in. I bet the dog wants a nap too.
