Easy noon meal. Chicken nuggets cooked in the air fryer while I made a pot of mac & cheese. These are family favorites that I make every week or two. I haven't finished my oatmeal & strawberries yet so that is what I will be eating.

I sat down and planned this week's autism-related appointments with DD14. My main question for her was whether she wanted me to pull her out of school tomorrow to listen to the pediatrician's findings during the Zoom meeting. Tomorrow's appointment is intended for the parent or guardian to hear the diagnosis, but I offered DD14 the option to sit off-camera and listen in. She declined, as she doesn't want to miss more school and is content to simply know the final diagnosis. On Tuesday, we'll meet with DD14's trusted counselor to discuss the diagnoses, and on Thursday, we'll meet with the family doctor to review the diagnosis.
This week marks the conclusion of a months-long process. Well, maybe not the conclusion, but at least we will finally have the official opinion of a pediatrician who specializes in autism regarding DD14.

It’s my birthday week, and we’ve planned two meals with family and friends.
There are 2 school related field trips happening this week. Note to self....don't forget the $$ for food and treats.
The wildlife guy has been coming daily to check the gopher, mole, or vole traps in the garden. It’s a bit of a hassle since the area is secured with a fence that can’t be opened from the outside. We have to be here each time to let him in and out.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

Adult stuff... updated...
Blankets x 3 Second one is in the washer now.
Litter box x 1
Make beef stew (started already) Now it's simmering. I've tasted it and it tastes great.
Pots and pans (started) Still working on these. My back was getting sore.
Bathroom garbage needs to be dealt with... and the fun stuff...

Stitching (working away on current project) making good progress today.

Sports on TV Football until the baseball game against Seattle Mariners starts tonight at 8. Pregame discussion has started. I think 1 game has started. It sounds like it. No idea which game.

It's very blustery here today. Like dh said, Mother Nature needs to knock down those leaves. They are flying off the trees!!

I went outside to discover it's really warm out even with the gusty winds.

Twins — the referees ALWAYS favor Alabama
Someone told us they favor the higher ranked team. That sounds like a conspiracy theory but watch — it’s usually true.
I’ve got to have a nap.,
Tomorrow is another day.

mom is sitting with dd's and helper (we have one that comes during the week and this one on Sunday's - she is lovely too and mom responds well to her) - mom is feeding herself.

I finished my yearly clean out of my 3 x 5's - nice and organized.
weekly is set
I am really proud of it.

the house smells wonderful - dd younger is making her focaccia - roasted tomatoes and garlic/rosemary/thyme for the top.

clean out the plate cabinet - last to be washed -finished

Skip this regarding wildlife and living in the country if you have want to.

Dh took care of a short term problem in the back yard earlier. A VERY large racoon. He told me after everything was done, including disposal/burial that it was rabid. We had a short discussion regarding that because I said something must have been wrong because it was walking around in the middle of the day.

Thankfully the cats were all inside and they will stay inside until tomorrow morning. It rained briefly here after dh took care of it, so the area got washed up a bit. Dh did call the neighbours to explain the one noise that they might have heard which might have alarmed them. They didn't hear it. The entire span of time from first seeing it to the end of it's funeral was less than 10 minutes. Since I started to type this up, it started to pour rain. There is also a tornado watch (?) in Ontario. Extremely warm weather and gusting winds.

hello d kitty -

we have had rabies here - nw ill/southern Wisconsin - usually bats - but we had a squirrel in our back yard - it kept coming to me - falling over - I called the city - it died in my yard and it had rabies -
I haven't seen a raccoon with rabies but I have heard that it happens. raccoons are dirty skinned animals anyway.

d cathy glad your dh was able to take care of it before it hurt someone.
stay safe with the tornado watch!

dd's focaccia was fantastic

cleaned the dining room table.

tomorrow: nurse comes
dh and I clean the floor in laundry room.
want to pull all dog things out for dd to go through

on the list for this week as well clean under kitchen sink

Had my home made soup for lunch.
Feeling mostly better.
Picked up the back yard and did some laps in back yard as I needed steps.
Did my basement walk about too.
I still have some more steps to do today.
We have a blustery day but it's not too cold out so that helps.
Watched a sewing show. Made myself get up and walk some.
Glad my focus is better now too yea!
