I knocked off six to-dos with my errand run. Was concern about the checking about for HOA and did that first - they didn't know what was going on but the account is still ours, lol. They reset it and I logged in on their computer and my phone before I left. After that I picked up at cleaners, went through cemetery bank with deposit, post office, CVS for moisturizer and deodorant, and dropped off a return at the UPS store. Altogether satisfying. This afternoon after my workout I'll come home the other way and go by the temple and pick up a script at the other CVS. I might change my scripts to this larger CVS that I went to this a.m. Somewhat easier to get in and out of, has a drive through for pharmacy, more selection and inventory. When dh went by the other CVS every day it was easy for him to pick up there for me.

I was going to make my "FUN" thing getting a cake bite at a bakery I love that is near the cleaners but they're closed Monday, so I got two of the Lindt dark chocolate truffles at CVS. I shouldn't reward myself with food but I do make sure it's a small treat.

My energy is good today. I have chicken breasts thawing for tonight. I purged and wiped most of the refrigerator this a.m. (Garbage runs tomorrow.)

Waving madly to Harriet! So good to see you with us!

First.... UPDATE on racoon. They came and took it away to be studied. They will let us know and they asked dh if he touched it. He told them he put gloves on before he moved it. They also said it looked like it had been "unwell for a while" and they thanked dh for doing what he did.

I have very little to do today. Leftover beef stew for supper.

So glad for the update Cathy! Good the authorities have the carcass - I think they test the brain for rabies but I'm not sure? There can be other diseases as well. Kudos to your dh for the gloves.

Talked to dsis while I was on my walk.
Ddoggo is happy now.
So glad to be feeling better now.
Also plans for both meals is a good thing.

Have listened to 1/2 of the sermon this guest speaker must have went over as
I had two interruptions and the time I've listened he is only on point #2 on prayer good.
But too much lead up words & time before getting to the good stuff! LOL! Just my opinion.
Yep 57 min. I'll save the rest for another day.

Harriet… no materials at my Michael’s when I was there the other day. Had threads for stitching but no books with patterns or stitch kits.

My previous FIL was one of 8 children. He was born in 1925 in the hills outside of Knoxville… just before you get to Lenore City Twins.

He was the youngest and plowed fields at age 6 with a mule for 25 cents a day. It was depression time. He had no shoes and often wore his sisters mismatched one to school. His mother built a fire on the front lawn, put a big pot on it and boiled her laundry to wash it.

He had an older brother who was 12 when bitten by a rabid cat and died from rabies. I often think how terrible it was for his brother and family.

it's amazing what families have had to do before.i hope it's a history that people remember.

d rose, I am so sad to hear that he was bitten by a rabid cat and died - so painful and terrible. I can't imagine his and the families pain!

d Nancy nice that you could talk to your d sis.
some speakers can talk awhile before they get to the good stuff :D :D

d lady praying it all works out well!

sorry I can't go back any further to see how everyones day is going.

I am still overwhelmed by what's left out - I need to focus to finish the process.
I have my card file out but I am anxious by what I see - even though I am doing well with it.

next: clean off counter, :D stove, :D sink etc. :D fridge front :D
emptied dw :D
it is always a joy to be here with you!

The meeting with the pediatrician went well. I rate her 10 out of 10 in explaining the diagnosis, listening, and giving requested feedback to my many questions. She will provide written documentation of her diagnosis by the end of the week. From my unofficial notes taken during our meeting, DD14 has been diagnosis with -
** Autism Level 1
** Anxiety
** Depression
** C-PTSD
** ADHD

She recommends starting with the following treatments-
** Trauma therapy, in addition to DD14 regular counseling.
** Physical therapy to build up DD14 physical strength
** Holistic nutritionist - gut and brains are directly tied together. She gave us an option to participate in 4 week, 8 week or 16 week gut health, detoxification, and personalized nutrition sessions.

Now that we have this information, it really depends on what DD14 decides to do. I could force her to undergo these treatments, but if she’s not willing, I don’t see how they would be effective. We’ll be discussing the way forward with her counselor and family doctor this week.

It's interesting that insurance doesn't cover holistic nutritionist treatments, even if the practitioner is a medical doctor. However, it will cover visits to a registered dietitian, even though they aren't medical doctors.

Had lunch.
Did some knitting.

My joy today is having done my desk duty and seeing three envelopes ready to go out in the mail tomorrow.
A letter. A ballot. A form for my check up at the Dr.
What a relief!

I feel good about myself as I am able to do my own budgeting, cooking, cleaning and exercise.
Have not needed to see a Dr. in a year so I put good for health!

Enjoying my day I cut up zucchini that needs to be eaten with my next meal.
Got my steps in for the day.

Set aside some $ for helping out with turkey day meal for the host as they have a Costco card & I do not.
SO glad to be feeling better and not stiff sore or achy! YE'A!!!
Did my basement walk about and walked to both corners to get the rest of my steps in so I can relax with out
feeling I "should" do more steps unless I need want to for something else.
