Take It Away" is a single by the English musician Paul McCartney from his third solo studio album Tug of War (1982). The single spent sixteen weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, reaching #10 and spending five consecutive weeks at that position. It reached #15 in the UK. The music video, directed by John Mackenzie, features former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, long-time producer George Martin, and songwriting collaborator Eric Stewart, all of whom played on the track, as well as actor John Hurt, Linda McCartney and Barbara Bach.

Although there is a segue from "Tug of War" into this song on the album, the single version instead starts cleanly but fades out earlier at the end.

Thanks for the start, kittykatt!
I've been very much MIA since even befroe my mother died; now we are in the midst of funeral plans. picking out flowers, hymns, scripture, food to be catered in, and more. My sisters want colored picture on the front of the bulletin. Our church doesn't have a color printer, so i will have to go to the college to have that done. Hooray for our good relationship with the college! Our pastor has been on vacation, and we meet with him Thursday morning. And I have to pack for a week away, leaving on Friday morning. I haven't packed to be away for more than 2 nights (visited grandson at University last year, 2 nights. Days 1 & 3 were travel!) for 5 years. And that was summer, and with mother to care for along the way.
We're doing OK, but there is much to do.
I did try to get here a day or 2 ago, but was not successful
Good night. I have to get up early.

Good to see you Gma. Thinking of you during this time. Love the colored bulletin; my parents' church has a color printer so I could put a nice pic of each one on their bulletins. How far away is the funeral?
I hope you're having a good afternoon, Kitty.

I'm here drinking my coffee with you all as I try to do every morning. We plan to be otd in 1 hour. I'm mostly packed but have last minute things to pack. Plus, I'm now checking a bag instead of doing carry-on, so I might add some things. Our flight is at 8:25, not 8 a.m. as I originally thought.

Emergency vet last night said that Fable needed to have surgery; I suppose that's been done by now. They induced vomiting but the tack didn't come back; they think it lodged in her stomach. I hope so because that would make it easy to find. I haven't heard anything yet and I know dd27 was worried last night. Me too a bit. I just hope it all went well.

Next:
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- finish reclaiming the kitchen

Later:
- set up puzzle for the flight
- make a thank you card package
- pack last minute toiletries
- pack last books and electronics
- pupa in living room
- otd at 6:30
- drive to airport; check bag; security
- fly safely to Seattle
- pick up bag; pick up car
- drive to ds + F's house
- grocery store?
- settle in
- lunch at some point
- payroll: slide show for D5
- maybe a nap this afternoon?
- walk
- duolingo
- update health apps
-dinner out with ds + F + F's mom who is also staying at their house (We don't know her well; she will be at the house with us for the 2 days ds + F are at the hospital. It feels a bit strange; we are very different people and she's about 15 years older than us. Could be just fine.)

TaDas
- up; weighed self -- up
- coffee
- dw 3/4 unloaded
- email deletions; added to my last minute list

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Thu 6:30 a.m otd to airport - fly to Seattle/ Visit with DS, F, and her mother
Fri 7 a.m. at hospital - planned C-Section
Sat visit I; help out in other ways? Run errands?
Sun - take dh to the airport

Mon 1 - (Eastern time) payroll: teacher meeting?
Tue
Wed Fly home
Thu 2-3 trainer work out/ 6 - dh work awards dinner?
Fri 1:30 - 3:30 payroll: teach AIAS D8/ dinner date with dh?

October Brain Dumps
This Week - House

Gma, it's good to see you back posting. I had taken the liberty of mentioning your loss in our Joys and Concerns.

helia, I hope Fable has the easiest and best outcome as the vet makes smart decisions in caring. Labradors are so adventurous, inquisitive, and Fable is really still in puppyhood, so even more so.

So glad that the experts (the elves, the geeks?) out there in the web, working, were evidently able to give our site our awaited "attention" yesterday morning. For about 24 hours now we have had normally speedy, responsive posting, following the

Good morning! ☀️

Thanks for the start, kittykatt, I’m thankful for a more normal start to the day here.

(((Gma))), I’m so sorry to read about your mom. I do hope the travel is relaxing for you.

Helia, safe travels! Poor Fable, I hope surgery is over now and she is on the mend.

LAnn, do you make your own sauce for the bang bang chicken? I’ve been craving some lately but local restaurants only had shrimp which works in a pinch but didn’t really satisfy the craving. Might try to make my own but not sure about buying a ready made sauce, they usually don’t taste the same.

Hi Harriet! Yes, I’m very grateful to those behind the scene keeping us going!

I’m enjoying a slow start to the morning and the cool weather right now. I have the front door open and the fresh air is refreshing. I do love this time of year. I’ll probably say that most days until we get a freeze, then I’ll love bundling up and starting a fire in the fireplace.

Done:
Spot clean floors - Tux left me a not so nice chore to do
Scooped litter in laundry room
Fed inside animals, gave dogs cat bowl to lick clean before I wash it, the cats won’t eat the bottom layer of food, the cats got a clean bowl filled with fresh dry and a bowl of canned food to snack on

Do:
Decide what I want for breakfast, something light (fruit, cottage cheese or heavier like toast with melted cheese or butter and jelly…)
Coffee or juice?
Might as well decide on supper and thaw something
♥ Wake each day expecting good things to happen! ♥
