I honestly feel like I've been lost this week. Between the aggravation and nuisance of the HOA bank account (two trips to the bank in two days...) and the board being down and now having this "sounding board," I'm just lost. I wrote the date down in my planner on Tuesday and that was it. I had to spend way too much of the day on HOA stuff, etc., and then yesterday was just a loss. Never felt like I got moving, piddled on genealogy some (that was at least enjoyable) but was resentful about going out to dinner last night (not sure what that was about) and this couple was on my last nerve. Left home 4:15ish and got home after nine p.m. I was just tired. [Vent over?}

And between dh and ddog I feel like I can't finish anything. She's fussing about her w.a.l.k right now, so I'm off with her. Dcleaning lady should be here soon and I've done my PUPA, at least in the bedroom, bathroom, where she starts. (Must make a note for her about vacuuming upstairs and the bed upstairs. My mind is mush.)

My Home Sweet Home gets one more step toward a dishwasher - or at least the electrical aspect of a dishwasher - today. We have 2 electricians here right now: the one we know working in the kitchen and a helper under the house. The slight disappointment is that I had to get the installer on the phone to compare their notes, and he and the electrician have decided that the actual use of the dishwasher will wait until the installer can get back by here to finish.

helia's still-a-puppy Fable, almost one year, had an ER visit last night. Hopefully, a minor surgery will let them bring Fable home.

((Twins')) I hate lost days. Here we are - sound off.

Hi!

All compost, garbage and recycling is at the end of the driveway. Getting the kitchen garbage out helps towards making our home smelling a bit better. Same with compost.

I did a load of laundry before I went to bed last night. The dryer is now empty.

Cats have all had their morning treats. Dh is still sleeping.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Good morning everyone. Got up at 5 or 6 not sure which!
It's nearly 7 now.
I have cinnamon in my coffee makes my home better & me happier too.
DD called and was having woes no dishwasher in her apt. shares Harriet's feelings.
Mine needs to be updated but I figured it was extra excersize and activity for me and
use of muscles the stretching to put them away. One time I checked to see how long
it took. Six minutes I had been fussing for 15 min. about doing it! LOL!

My first job was washing dishes and I learned an efficient system.
Glasses 1st, then plates silverware / flatware at the bottom soaking were done last.
I've kept up with that.

DD & I discussed that Dgd could do some of them as dishes are with in the weight
limits she has. She said it took her an hour after cooking up spaghetti for her DD & other teens 4-5 people.
That does definitely take more time.

I have been cooking less to focus on sewing zone furniture building LOL!
More sandwiches.

planning x

I need to s2s
sheets could be washed
need to rinse out my hair after doing the fire pit fun yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! Need to leave in 10 to pick up DC from school, so this will be short.

Thanks to Harriet and HRH for the explanation about the outage. Being from northern climes (though not as northern as some), my analogy was plowing snow -- when it gets bad, the highways get it first, then the state routes, then main streets, then side streets like mine. It's not snowing here yet, but it is chilly and raining. I think I heard a brief bout of sleet, but I was in the bathroom and couldn't see through the frosted glass. The forecast for the next few days has it getting a smidge warmer (upper 50s vs lower 50s during the day) and less rainy.

Cathy using "local" yesterday to describe the news makes me wonder if it was T.O. or Buffalo. I am hoping when we get an outdoor antenna that we might be able to pick up a little Canadian TV -- we used to sometimes when I was a kid, but frequencies have changed, and they will probably recommend a directional antenna since all the Cleveland stations are in the same direction from here.

Gotta go get DC now and get some gas as well. Was debating leaving earlier to get cheaper gas, but I don't feel like going out of my way.

See you later, I hope!

Dcleaning lady is here doing her magic and ddog was walked two laps. After I started an Instacart list dh said he would go to grocery this afternoon for me, so I revamped list to add better descriptions for him. Sometimes he doesn't pay attention to descriptions...

Ta da: I managed to get into the HOA bank account on my phone and make the deposit of the check that's actually written to the former developer of the properties. The HOA association is on the now closed account so hopefully will be okay.

Ta da: printer is un jammed and I printed the other tax check for the HOA, but left that project downstairs and came upstairs to get out of dcleaning lady's way.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed now with house guests next week and again the end of the week after. And dd will need to sleep in my workroom up here, because our guest room is taken by a frat brother of dh's. So it would really be nice to get it dejunked before 7 Nov, when dd and frat bro comes in.
