Last CI before bed. For all who were wondering, the draught excluders have been found! And are now in place, one pushed against the front door, and the other against the sitting room door. They may be old fashioned, but are surprisingly effective at keeping the cold draught out.

I had some garden time this afternoon, and everything is now leaf free. It won't last, as there are lots of leaves still in the neighbourhood trees, but it's nice to look at for now, at least. I've folded laundry and PA, and do e the delicate LOL. Everyone has been fed, and while DH was at choir I hung some cat pictures on the staircase (not the one I'm hoping to give him for Christmas, but these were free from Free prints), and despite having been up and downstairs a couple of times, he hasn't noticed.

FrenchFly, when I used to work standard office hours, I used to fantasize about being asleep by the end of the week. Things improved a lot when I was able to start working shifts that didn't involve getting up early.
I'm wishing you a good sleep and a productive weekend to get things back to where you like them.

helia, congratulations to you and your dfamily! So glad that it all went well and that your new grandchild is here.

I hope that lying down at least lifted the headache!

I should be at the end of a long day of errands, but I'm still trying to motivate myself to leave the apartment. I can't even point to a long list of procrastaccomplishments. I 've just been lazy. Luckily, the day is still young.

I have screwed the patio door windows into place, which has allowed me to shut them properly, which reduce that cold draft.

I’ll never forget the joy of seeing ds become a father. I told dh, he really, literally looked like he was walking on air. LOL.
Grandchildren are the absolute best thing ever. I know when dgs was born, I acted like no one had ever had a baby before!

Congratulations helian. Being a grandmother is the best. No emergency FFB. DD39 went to work with her DH and then worked a half day from his office before they went and did an activity together. They left their house at 4:45 am and I may not have a lot of babysitting limits but I DO NOT
Pick up that early.

We got home around 7. DD32’s appointment went well and her blood counts are great. We stopped for a relatively quick sit down dinner on the way home.

Congratulations helian. Gonna be so fun with a little one around. Well I guess she will be at a distance but pictures and videos... and maybe you will travel there more...

Well home from work. Rested a bit. Cleaned up the kitchen. Ds made soup. He used my tomatoes for a base. Yay. There's also some other creation in the fridge to figure out what to do with. I came home to fresh pasta the other day.

Supper and clean up and then I can be done.
