I have sat for most of the day -
I am not even s2s -

dd younger had to deal with brothers snarky remarks about where the key and remotes for mom's house in Florida was - she handled it - told people where to go to open shutters and turn on water - brother was like - he acted like he expected/knew dd did something wrong type of thing. I don't get it. - I thanked dd for helping -
she got them to where they needed to go. he was so negative - and condescending to her - she doesn't need that. he could have been nice - he complained about his wife nagging him and he blamed it on dd and us. "next time I will go down before they go so everything is set we were all on the phone together - geesh - brothers wife was fine but completely lost - she is not used to being down there.

she had left the remote where it normally is - but one of the workman moved it when doing the window shutters. I don't understand why he can't just have faith that people aren't lying to him. again - I am glad that I don't have to deal with this normally.

okay - time to work for real.

tomorrow pick up gift card for neighbor across the street - garden shop
tomorrow pick up cleaning and drop off sweater for mom

bank - I didn't get enough cash to give one more tip and give back to dh.

Back from the Dr. trying to explain to DD how it works when I go it's just different for me & my Dr.
Esp when results are normal no instruction needed LOL!
Or if A1c is up is like I know the drill.

I am good for a year and oxygen was 99% and they were impressed with
my BP at my age. Better than last year I do not remember that number.
My balance is good.

Basically it was a waste of time IMO LOL!
I do have a two exercises to do.

Did errands went to two smaller stores & one other stop this week so excited to get my butternut squash and spaghetti squash.
Got food unloaded and stores were normal. Put food away.
Ate my lunch.

Walk in a bit.

It has been overcast here for most of the day.

After dh's doctor's appointment, dh took us out for lunch.

He fell asleep within 30 minutes of getting home.

I just put the frozen cabbage rolls into the oven.

I have 1 1/2 hours to do something a bit more productive than reading and/or stitching. I did just make a hot cup of tea, so I have to sit here and drink that.

I did drive DH's car on the highway to pick up DC. Yay, me!

I have made a shopping list for the kids to go in for me; checked the store's app, so I was able to put down what aisles things are in. DC said they'd be willing to go right now, but I'm worried about the turnaround for picking DD up from work -- she's sometimes (though rarely) done as early as 5:30, and that's after sunset, so I don't want her waiting around or walking home in the dark.

I walked with ddoggo after taking with dson about an hr.
comparing notes on being type 1.

Perfect weather out I did not even need a coat today.
I had my steps in from errands before we even left but doggo needed her walk
and the fresh air is good for me.

Got some rain.

Squash is in the oven for later it's done and I had some for dinner excellent.
Other for meal with t. sauce & meat.

Got nearly 10K steps today.
Baking Day squash is done and cooling.
I have rolls raising used the over sized loaf pan and smaller round one for that.

Next I'll be working in the sewing zone to clear off bed to put the item I hemmed yesterday on it. X

Then 15 min. on ex. bike when I watch my fav. comedy show this was at the dr's suggestion.
Mornings do a leg up and then a heel lift work up to one min. with hand on counter or window sill, switch legs.
He suggested while coffee is brewing but that's when I do my basement walk about so I'll do it after that or tonight.

My anti procrastination task today was to finally pull out, declutter, deep clean and polish the lady two under bed storage drawers. I now have a donate pile which needs to be bagged up.

I drank my tea and read about a blue tsunami/blue wave ahem... Whoosh!!


I had a fast shower and then I sat in the library and stitched.

I need to empty the dishwasher. There is a sink full of dishes that have been pre-rinsed.

My pantry shelves are looking a bit messy because they are kind of full at the moment. I bought garbage bags and large zippered bags before we had gotten down to almost none, so that area is overstocked. Pasta area has a bunch of partly used bags and looks "unsorted". I used to be able to figure out exactly how much I had of whatever type of pasta was there. Now it's all jumbled together and it hurts my brain to look at it the way it is.

Dh was told to increase his O zempic and his fast acting insulin that he is supposed to have before every meal.

Cats are expressing their displeasure at being fed later. Time to do that.

rabbit hole won the day

We have sweet potato in over and I've done a salad for us and dh is about to grill. I really have been down a rabbit hole. An article in today's newspaper spurred my admittedly ADHD impulses so there I went. My initial anti procrastination thought was to finish the DAR application I've been working on.

DH and I went to the city an hour before my dentist appointment so I could do a couple errands. Went by the medical equipment place for DH CPAP supplies and stopped by WM for a half dozen items. Everything seemed normal. At the dentist office we were sitting in the waiting room while I was filling out the paperwork. DH got up and went to the bathroom......or so I thought. I heard them call his name and ask him where he was going. Just like THAT >>.SNAP FINGERS<<<< DH lost his memory. He didn't know where he was or the names of anyone. I didn't know what to do other than cancel my appt and leave. However, our hygienist/friend of many decades calmly took charge and moved the furniture in the exam room so DH had a comfortable chair to sit in next to me. I got the fastest teeth cleaning on record (20 minutes) while keeping an eye on DH. He did get up a couple times to roam the halls, but we were able to bring him back and sit down in chair again until they finished my teeth cleaning.
I am unsettled about this happening in public so quickly with no symptoms or warning. This is the 12th time Dh has lost his memory and each time it seems to follow a similar timeline during recovery. That part of this process is somewhat comforting in that if it follows like previous times, DH should be back to his normal self in a day or two. But the quickness of it happening is totally unpredictable. I can not find anything to be causing it. DH mowed the yard this morning, shopped in WM without any problems, interacted with everyone he met like he does normally..... everything is normal until it isn't. *POOF* his memory is gone.

On the bright side, DH is still kind and always willing to help with whatever I ask. I held his hand as we walked out of the dental office, and he asked me where we were going. I told him we were heading home. He then asked how we were getting there, and I explained we’d be driving our vehicle. However, he couldn’t recognize which vehicle was ours in the parking lot. When I opened the Odyssey door for him to get in, he asked, “Is this our vehicle?”

DS17 was disappointed there was nothing new to eat since everything I made today had vegetables. Oh well, too bad. I told him and his GF they could either cook something themselves or have a ham and cheese sandwich—they’ll survive. DD14, on the other hand, enjoys being self-sufficient and always finds something she likes to eat without any comments or complaints.
