I just turned the dishwasher on even though I had it filled this morning.

Came home after Friday afternoon group and the house smelled of beef stew! We decided to eat a bit earlier than usual.

I've been on and off of the computer. I'm trying to stay out of the bedroom because I'm tired. There is a new Boston Blue episode tonight that I don't want to miss.

There might be white stuff in the forecast this Sunday. UGH! Thankfully we got our snow plow blade installed yesterday and it has been delivered back to us. It's parked in the garage waiting to be used.

SWEEEEEEETTTT! There is now hope for DD14 catapult project.
I have spent waaay too much time today looking at catapult designs and trying to figure out what DD14 could build with my help. DD14 said it has to be wood and about 3' tall/wide/long. I am not the least bit skilled in building things....especially things that move and launch golf balls. It just seems overwhelming to me.
Enter DSonIL.....he has been artillery fella for decades and is an expert at launching things into the air. I didn't ask him to help because he just had (10 days ago) major surgery and got out of hospital 3 days ago. However, when DSonIL heard about the catapult project he is eager to design and direct the build. This gives DD14 a chance for catapult success.

Twins', I was surprised you headed out for a comforter or bedspread. I honestly would have thought you'd have plenty of nice bed-toppers from which to choose. I have this vision of your perfectly appointed linen closet, somehow.

Also - I have to ask. Joking about the Roomba ever finding the way from upstairs to downstairs? Yes? Or has the world moved on to a brave new horizon in which little autonomous vacuum cleaners lift their skirts and step down the staircase on spindly legs... .. new and improved while I wasn't looking ... ..

I miss my excuses. Last night was dgdC's championship game in the softball league but we haven't heard. I know they are so busy.

Nancy, enjoy the fat quarters. I heard on the YT video I was watching that the mother stumbled upon a closed mystery bag at a charity shop for a dollar. She could at least tell it was fabric, so she bought it. It was full of pillow panels from the 90s or 80s, so of course cottons and perfectly nice, just printed as "cheater" pillows that weren't really patchwork, and the printed words of instructions as part of the yardage. What a find.

I found a strip quilt on you tube that was cut in blocks the diagonally cut for more tringle shaped blocks.
That is what the pieces were looking like that I found at a yd. sale this summer yea! Now I know what the gal
was doing!

I have deboned the chicken and chopped up some of the breast meat for a recipe and froze it up.
I think I have every thing I need for it now. Soup is cooking up now in my eneamaled Dutch oven.
It smells so good! I've been enjoying my new oven with a working lite I found the switch for it a couple
weeks ago. What a joy these days to have that now that it's cooler.

One find was a tote with a ring hole for yarn I'm looking forward to using that as soon as it dries.
I'm about to start a new knit project next week; I just need to decide what color!
Got white, bright yellow and one with soft greens & beige ombre in it.

Another find was a wall plaque with autumn leaves on it, I've been looking for art so glad I found a spot for that!

I did ask the security person if he could walk with me to my rig today yes he could this was at Wal-mart.
They have had a security person even before the govt. shut down.
They have only had 2 incidents of people taking carts of food after people had paid and left
the store. They were on alert for that and really watching out for that. I was safe and did not have any issue.
