Got that far. And took the other end of the yarn ball and started again with my project. I haven't taken it back out yet so I can keep whichever works out best. I dunno but I already think I like it starting with the darkest part of the color and I did the first row in half double instead of single at first .

Waiting to hear if dad gets mom to town for sure to know how the day works. Ate some cereal now I should do the rest of the kitchen.

Laura, just throwing this out there… we have a senior center where retired people go for various things, many are crafty and would enjoy teaching someone a skill, is there something like that in your area where you could find an as needed tutor? Hugs and prayers for your mom, dad, family.

LAnn, hope the shoeboxes were a nice break from routines. I tried wiping the walls in my bathroom but candle soot has made them a mess, I’ll probably end up painting at some point but dreading that.

The college basketball game was VERY raucous! I'm thinking the "Orange Crush" aka student cheer body must've had a keg of Red Bull in their lair. We won - but it was a fight all the way. The other team was very rough and physical.

Getting a very late start here. Spent some time with G before I took him to the airport to get his rental car. It's a beautiful day here in the 50's, a far cry from snow the last 2/3 days. Need to quick spiff the house, then get my brain oriented in the right direction.

Hi all ! Just a short CI.

Laura I would love to help with crochet but not sure I could. Counting the smallest loops (chain loops ?) is always a tricky part, sometimes you have to add one at the end of a row and no-one tells you.I love your solution of starting all over again from the other end of your yarn : I did similar "second starts" with my latest knitting projects. Also adapting the instructions to fit your need is always best. I like Bama's advice about finding an elerderly crocheter as tutor.
