trissie ~ I DO know what you mean. You don't want it spreading through ALL your kids - AND you - AND dh if it IS WC. Better save than sorry. Since whooping cough is so uncommon here, I didn't even know how it worked. Thanks for the info.
L.Ann ~ I repeat.. dang! that sounds good!
Hey, Peach!

G has been sending a beaucoup of pics this morning of progress on the house. He says it's hard to convey the impressiveness of all the boulders being laid. One bathtub in, yay! The stonemason is up on his cherry picker working on the fireplace exterior. The kitchen beam that will carry the overhead island lights is up. So exciting! Wish I was there to see in person.

Morning physio & gym prep done. Off to the gym! Will do grocery shopping while out. Does the first person done for grocery shopping challenge get a prize? 😻🥸🤡

Smile*Lee, it used to be very rare here too, but with all the unvaccinated kids, it's unfortunately seen an increase in the last ten or so years. Apparently, the vaccinated still can get it, in a non-life-threatening, sometimes cold-like version, but some will get the ugly coughing for weeks version. At least now doctors do think it's an option - a friend of mine caught it, like 12 years ago? so nobody thought to test her for WC and they just kept telling her to take OTC cough medication.

Home from the grocery run. Where did the day go?

trissie, I always have a collection of homemade mains in my freezer too! It's a bit like a security blanket for me. When the stash gets low, I can start to feel anxious. Dh likes to eat them to make more space in the freezer, so sometimes it feels like a battle. LOL! WTG on your grocery run! I made an online order.
Glad you enjoyed your walk, L Ann. Wow on wrapping gifts.
I'm so excited for your new house, Smile! I'm heading out to the gym soon too! He he -- I bet your forecast for the weekend is warmer than ours, which is a high of 64 on Saturday. ☀️
Hi Peaches.

I have to say, since I've stopped running, I feel like the numbness in the balls of my feet and bottom of my toes is lessening; more tingling now. This give me hope -- but also it's kind of sad. I'd like to get back to running. I'm going to try to stay active with low-impact exercise, and I'm going to try to be more diligent about losing some weight. I'm barely technically overweight -- not sure I actually am -- but I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before kids. I think less weight on my feet would also help. Still waiting on Dr. to schedule the EMG.

I'm finishing lunch. Made a little progress this morning.

Next:
- towels to dryer
- back exercises
- dress to exercises
- gym, low-impact cardio (elliptical? - It does twist the back a little; I'll try it though.)

Later:
- s2s and self care
- make the bed
- reclaim the kitchen
- towel laundry: w d f pa
- gym: cardio
- go for a long walk in the sunshine (at some point)
- payroll: finish grading exams
- payroll: update gradelink
- put away groceries
- lunch
- progress on phone calls: window dude,
- tidy living areas
- dust living areas
- s/s main bathroom
- coffee shop with dh - write 1 hour
- dinner: kima and rice (or tacoes), salad
- after dinner clean up
- duolingo
- update health apps

TaDas!
- up and weighed self - same
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- reclaimed kitchen
- some qt
- Finch app
- towels: collected and washed
- recipes consulted and grocery list finalized
- Kroger order placed
- payroll: last minute edits to exams
- lunch

Good afternoon.

I’m here later than usual to make up for helia being so early today. :P I hope the foot issues are temporary and you can resume running at some point.

Smile, are you near any bodies of water in nc? It’s 50s/70s this week after several freezing days of 30s/50s. Our weather is all over the place right now. It’s still nice and low humidity so I’ll take it!

Hi LAnn! Hi Peaches! Hi kittykatt!

Trissie, you’re such a vigilant mom, I know all of the things will work out. Hang on while you get through this week.

For French if she peeks in, I asked dh about sayings and he said “keep it close to your heart” or “put it in my back pocket”…

No more pennies, I had heard the same about nickels, that the cost is more than the value, so I wonder if they’re next on the chopping block.

Need to make a Thanksgiving meal plan soon and gather ingredients. But first I need to focus on today… Wfd - I’ve been wanting a certain restaurant’s fried chicken, local not a chain, I’ve also been wanting a good old bologna sandwich, I can’t recall the last time I ate one. Which will win out?

Done:
Bible
Weigh
This and that

Do:
Lunch - yeah, I’m clocking in to post about eating lol
