While working I noticed Timothy Totten's newest video (upholsterer, sewer), so watched that, and he says something TOO funny:
It is November and we are getting into the Thanksgiving swing and some people have completely overshot the runway and they are right into Christmas.
I don't know why it's the case this year, but I agree, it does seem to be happening. There have always been folks who enjoyed doing that. I didn't think it would be me, though. I am usually just barely in time for the calendar.
lucylee, I hope the dentist has good news for you tomorrow. Glad to hear your mother is feeling relatively well now.
lucylee, yes, I've seen windowed cabinets used and they're so pretty with the patterns of quilts visible, but don't have one. I saw in the background of rooms in recent videos different ways quilts were being displayed and felt like as long as they were high enough off the floor (this chest might be called a "high boy", not sure - 5 drawers, the bottom one deep, so its height finishes at my shoulder) it was a safe-to-the-quilt way. Also, this wall receives no direct sunlight.
Actually, I do have a miniature white windowed cabinet. Could put mini quilts in there for a season to see if they were noticed. Slight lightbulb glimmer above head.
