kittykatt, were there other cats to select from? I mean... you can't really blame a photographer for not being able to handle a cat that's been known to injure vet staff (as you mentioned before), as those are far more trained to handle animals! The poor guy had no chance!
Smile*Lee, thank you for taking the time to explain the house situation! I completely get needing a good start when the old house was full of memories and some of them were probably rather painful reminders...
helia, we all need a chill day every once in a while! We may not get it... but when we do, we should grab it! :-)
happy birthday to DS16, lauralind! Time sure flies, it's not that long ago when he had a single digit birthday! Also, not that long ago when I started hinting that I may be pregnant again, with DBD now 8 :-)

Home early today, because I had an out of office meeting ending at 1:30 and I wouldn't have even gotten back to office by 2pm, so I just went shopping. Original plan was to get something for myself - well that didn't happen, but DS now has new mix and match PJs and a fancy shirt for the photoshoot. I need to get the twins something - they would certainly prefer a black hoodie, but that's not an option!
I have to move while I still can - with my totally messed up sleep patterns, because I was rested and because I had too much on my mind, I spiraled out of control when I went to bed and didn't fall asleep till 4am. With the 5:30 alarm. That's unfortunately not uncommon for me, but at least it will give me a restart tonight!

TaDas
- morning madness
- delay start load of towels
- morning routine
- snacks for all kids
- somehow survived a day at work, even an outside meeting where I spoke coherently and even made appropriate professional jokes that made half the room laugh
- quickie shopping at nearby mall
- home

ToDos
- midday routine
- 30 in master bathroom - deep cleaning
- 30 in kitchen - deep cleaning

☀️Good morning.

Thanks for the start, kittykatt. My fave cat breed is Himalayan, which have a similar look. Dh got me 2 when we first got married. Now we have “mutts” that I do love so I won’t tell them they weren’t my first choice. Poor Freddie, he doesn’t want to do social media and I can’t blame him. A photographer should be able to compensate in light and dark, that comment he made wasn’t necessary.

(((Smile))), new starts can be hard. I pray this move is a positive and you have the best time planning and preparing your new homes and enjoying Lil H.

Helia, a chill day often makes for an extra productive next day. Hope the critter is dealt with soon.

Laura, I hope the headache has totally vanished, I’m so glad dad has help now, and sending good crochet vibes your way.

Trissie, I hope your sleep habit can get back to normal tonight. Shopping is always the answer to any question. :)

Watching the Today Show, I don’t normally, to catch the Dick Van Dyke interview, he is 100 years old this year. I’ve caught his wife on social media and they still put on small shows in their neighborhood. He’s still so busy. It’s just nostalgia for me, Mary Poppins era was the best. So going to wrestle up some breakfast and eat and watch.

It's chicken week at L.Ann's, it seems!
Bama, I read the other day that Dick Van Dyke was still alive and was rather surprised - but then again, it's not that long since Olivia de Havilland died and she starred in Gone with the Wind back in 1939!
You can keep all the snow you want, helia, I am definitely not interested!

There's no more low hanging fruit in my holiday cleaning lists - I scrubbed all the tiles in the master bathroom (not just the casual hot soapy water wipe or just the tiles near water sources, but the entire bathroom) and I did the two top corner shelves in the kitchen which house rarely used stuff (like large serving plates) that need to be handwashed before Christmas. And I kinda feel like crashing but I can't yet!

TaDas
- midday routine
- 30 in master bathroom - deep cleaning
- 30 in kitchen - deep cleaning
- loaded some of the rarely used dishes (like an extra tea set) in washer and started it
- sorted load of colors and running it

ToDos
- afternoon routine
- clean master bathroom
- homework time

L.Ann, chicken and turkey breasts are a dinner staple here too!
Bama, I read that Olivia de Havilland's goal was to outlive her younger sister, Joan Fontaine, because of their life-long rivalry, and she did it (JF died at 96 in 2013 and OdH at 104 in 2020)

Can't stop moving otherwise I'd crash!

TaDas
- afternoon routine
- clean master bathroom
- homework time

ToDos
- dinner (likely freezer meal?)
- 10 of movement
- fold towels from dryer
