A neighbor 3 doors away told DH that she was bringing her riding lawn mower here and she wanted him to jack it up and scrap underneath the mower bed. DH agreed to do it. When I heard about this, I waited until DH was out of hearing before I called the neighbor to explain that DH doesn't think clearly and I was not comfortable with him doing this safely. She is a retired colonel and is used to giving orders and expecting them to be followed. Sorry. Not sorry. You cannot order my husband to do things. I told her that I would send DS17 to her home to deep clean her mower, but she doesn't want it done at her home because it will cause a mess. There wasn't any drama, and we ended the phone call as friendly as possible.

Home from errands and had my breakfast/brunch. Also talked to dneighbor who is home today, one of their dFrench bulldogs is not doing well - he's at the emergency vet today and gets a CT scan to find out what's going on in his chest. One or the other of them will let our dMillie out tomorrow for a potty break while we're away. Also talked to dneighbor who is a close friend of the gal on the HOA committee that was opposed to the vote held yesterday. Gave her a heads up on it, I'm hoping it doesn't affect our friendships here. Also refilled the meds containers. So I can check off a bunch of weekly things.

I also did the online warranty claim for one of our Polywood Adirondack chairs.

Do you think I'm trying to put off HOA accounting work?

Right now:
-make the bed
-clean stovetop
-open QuickBooks and take care of the two checks that need to be written.

Baby stepping through each card to be done. It is time for DD14 asthma inhaler to be replaced. They are only supposed to be used for 90 days. Thank you to the cards that reminded me of that. Also a card comes due in 2 days to order refill for DD14 monthly acne meds so I went ahead and did it also. Now that I will be going to the city to pick these prescriptions up in a day or two, I need to find other things that can be accomplished at the same time.

Called and got the Odessey on schedule for oil change on Friday. That can be the 2nd errand while I'm in the city. What else?

Next up:
-clear kitchen island as much as possible, given that I'm working on HOA accounting
-enter all HOA transactions through today and gather documentation
-call water company to turn off water to the two HOA water lines for the winter.

-enter in QB the two or three invoices I have that are on auto pay for later this month.
-give ddog Sentinel tablet
-(uh oh. I'm going to shock you guys.) Oral hygiene routine and face routine

WHEN WILL I LEARN is right! These last two days have been ridiculous.

waving to all of you - helper just left for an hour and half - mom just went to bed. (we had someone move the bed into the front room this morning)

today mom asked for me but then said that I wasn't me - it doesn't make me sad - she has been asking for the young dd not the age she is currently at. dd's understand and very cheerful around her.

I have mom's laundry in the machine.
took dogs out.

The 3 season room is almost gone!
the put a wall in-between the family room and where the 3 season room is. amazing.

they took down our fence. dh doesn't want to have a fence anymore but we do get coyotes walking through our property. I have to think about it.
we can't put up a fence until spring anyway. I will have to see how the dogs do this winter. I need to put a light up so I can see if coyotes are around before letting the dogs out.He won't be aware and doesn't watch the dogs. (the fence was a picket fence by our back of the house and the patio. The rest wasn't fenced.

I got the laundry upstairs folded and put away.
Have been working on getting notes in my writer's notebook a more current version one for now.
The last one was loose pages.
Got the leaves I swept off the drive way in the can after the truck came by and emptied it out.
I've had lunch.

I really really hate it when dh asks me to do something, then it doesn't turn out how he wanted it and I hear about it. I took care of sending info for Polywood warranty this a.m. - a back support for the chair is cracked. They are sending that part for us to replace - dh thinks they should replace the entire chair.

I decided to give dMillie the Sentinel later with a treat before she walks. She is suspicious of treats at time and was asleep, not causing trouble. Like not disturbing a baby.

Instead I called back the Jewish Federation - they have a service where they check your medicare plan and dh set up an appointment for us, so they wanted to go over my meds, and my handwriting for the medicare account password was so atrocious they couldn't read it, lol.
