Re: Who, me? Wednesday
Back from store run done by nine it was not busy.
Forgot a couple of things oh well there are other trips to other stores.
Got to more leaf raking done in front yd. for now filled up two more cans.
Leaves might be 1/3 of the way done falling.
Walked ddoggo around the block.
Sunny and clear blue skies here! Luv that.
I'm 3/4ths of the way done with today's steps.
Working out some stuff and sore muscles.
Excited about the new journal like the one I gave to Dgd only mine has a butterfly one it! Yea!
Got another journal for our book club so we can do it as a group if we want. . .
Found a spot for the insta-pot in cupboard above the fridge, DD is excite wants it when she had room or a bigger place.
----
Had lunch / did some stretches.
Did swish n swipe in both bathrooms.
Did some knitting.
----
More notes are now in my writer notebook.
Raked up a few more leaves in the back yard to limber up it helped.
Got & processed the mail.
Football Coach lives next door I asked his wife If I could leave my food donations for that school
she said yes and have the kids take it for their give to the cause I think it's called. So I took the bag
over.
Did have dinner. Dishes are done and put away now too.

Question... why are they harvesting dried corn stalks? I don't know if there is corn still on the stalks, but we have had snow as well as frost, so temps have been under freezing. If there is corn, what type would it be and what animals would it be used for, if any? (Former big city person)

waving to you all - home from hardware store and cleaners, hallmark, local shop. The cleaners: - found out that they don't clean curtains - I was being lazy! I think God got a good giggle about me being languorous and sent me away from the cleaners with my bag of curtains. now I will wash them and iron them.
not today though.
the men are back to put plastic up on the open area
the building director also put an order in for a repair on our electricity
got the lights I wanted
bought a few extension cords.
bought the salt we needed
bought the curtain rod hangers
I am so tired - I feel I could nap
stopped by a local place and bought a sandwich -
I haven't gotten to the front room.

Corn harvest.....
10th Generation Dairyman is a utube channel located in Pennsylvania that I have been watching for years. They just finished harvesting corn for silage to feed dairy cows.
I took DH to family doctor to make sure he doesn't have UTI (he doesn't) because his memory seems to be changing. That visit resulted in several more tests being ordered. I really like our family doctor and am thankful that he asks so many questions, listens and responds.
On the drive home from the doctor’s office, we passed fields of cotton being harvested. Cotton isn’t a crop that’s usually seen in my immediate area. They grow it about 50 miles south, where the fields are larger and the cotton plants stretch on for miles.
