A Christmas craft fair sounds so nice,
lauralind!
Smile*Lee, 3am is VERY early! Me, I am more likely to be STILL up than ALREADY up, but I totally get the not sleeping thing. Is there a nap possibility in your future?
L.Ann, glad DD is not having a bad case of covid!
Smile*Lee, well, I'd rather not comment on teen couture, as I do remember having a purple era (remember the time when glossy leggings were a thing? Yikes!

)
helia, the reason is that one of the adult leaders lives in town A, and is not too relaxed about things, so insists on kids coming to train station in town A. However, the kids who live in town B, which is the official seat of this scout chapter, can get on the train there and do not have to travel, whereas the ones that live in other villages near those towns and their parents are driving them anyways, are requested to be taken to town A. Today, this person was in charge of the girls' group. The other leader lives in town B and is completely cool about everything, so it usually is not an issue, but today this other person was in charge of boys' group and didn't want to meddle in the first person's decisions. There was two sets of parents which ended up with this problem, but we didn't coordianate this morning and they had other plans for the afternoon, so we did four rides. We have two cars, so other than the gas and time, it wasn't such a hardship...
kittykatt, I see you're busy with laundry!
I wish I could be (busy with laundry, that is, but our washer had decided that blowing the fuses is more fun than washing. We've had it for 7 years and apparently there's something wrong with the electronics which would be a costly repair so not going to attempt that. But that still leaves me with a wet load in the (locked) washer! Just another problem for me to deal with... I really could use a couple good days, but they are harder and harder to come by.

- snip all the flowers from flowerboxes
- scrub middle of living room floor
- lunch (poor man's chili - heated some baked beans with sliced hotdogs - anyway those beans needed using up, as they were the "chili beans", as somebody very clever in marketing decided that if you sell regular beans and chili beans, their packaging should be exactly the same with a tiny "chili" note on the can, and then somebody also very clever decided to put them right next to the regular beans)
