kittykatt, my plan is to start Christmas baking this weekend. I already have double batch of gingerbread dough (needs to rest at least 48 hours) in the fridge, as I was very convinced our photoshoot was Sunday so I wanted to be ready for Saturday morning. Well, our photo lady sent "looking forward to see you Saturday" last night, and I double checked and she's right! So baking will happen on Sunday and that will officially start off the season!

I thought all the admin work I usually reserve for Fridays would take like 2 hours max, but it's 3pm and I've been at it since 8am and I barely got through the most pressing issues. But, I most certainly made my presence by the computer known to the entire company as I emailed pretty much every manager with some requests or updates

Hi everyone. We are back from Black Friday shopping. All 3 DDs and my oldest granddaughter went. dD32 and I are chilling at home until round 2 starts. We are doing family pictures and then the Polar Express ICE exhibit and dinner. The Utah crew is leaving tomorrow at 5:30 in the morning.

I am thinking of doing some cybershopping. We could probably use a larger remoska (a small portable electric oven which is very popular in Czech republic - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remoska ) - I have a 2 litre one, but they also make them 4-litre and that would be handy for casseroles now that the kids are bigger and eat more. And a book order to take advantage of the 20% off at several online stores! But not now, DBD fell asleep watching TV so I want to make the most out of the uninterrupted time

Good morning, everyone!

Lazy start to today. We had a wonderful day with the girls yesterday, shopped, watched dancing, ate street tacos at the pow wow before they both convoyed back to their house one way and we went the other way to crash. The weather started out cool and sunny (perfect) but got too windy to be comfortable toward the end. My long sleeve tshirt and sweater weren’t enough to be warm. Brrr.
Today is dh’s mri so we ate breakfast and are chilling a bit before we head out. May stop and shop if we are in the mood afterwards. Prayers appreciated.

Now you all know there are many versions of jello salad lol. It’s an old people food here so I never cared for it, all sorts of textures and flavors in one bowl. Seemed weird.

Dogged, my mom always made sausage cheese balls for special events, small round snacks. I make a larger version for breakfasts on special days so I don’t have to cook early morning and they heat well. My recipe: 3 c bisquick, 4 c shredded cheese (I mix cheddar, Colby, mozzarella, but any kind works), 1 c water, 1 lb hot sausage. Brown and drain sausage, mix everything together, I use an ice cream scoop to make biscuit sized portions, bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Yum. And now I’m wanting brownies.

Nothing exciting Trissie. I got bath scrubs and underwear for me since they are always a good price. I got DD32 a foot massager she wanted, stocking stuff, and some shirts and pants to replace worn out ones. I also got 2 games for the Utah crowd. I have an idea for DD39 and her DH I just need to order it Fromm Amazon. It takes a lot of gifts since I have to think of things for DD32 to give everyone in addition to things for me to give.
