"Time you Enjoy" Sunday PWYC

If I recall correctly, I was going to have a pajama day and either read or stitch.

So instead I did yet another 2 small loads of laundry. Dh wanted a pillow washed and then I decided to do something else after that.
Then I emptied the dishwasher. I also washed some pots and pans from last night.

I made supper. I had tomato soup. The chili is too spicy for me.

Now I'm going to reload the dishwasher and turn it on. I might even do the 4 pots from tonight's supper.

I've also been reading, so at least I did some relaxing.

Sheesh.

We enjoyed a visit from dbil today. He brought memorabilia that came to him through two other households to get to HRH. One piece is a large, framed photograph with oval mat that is very vintage. HRH is almost sure he knows who the couple in the photo is but wants to talk to his dmother before he commits. I think the lady in the photo looks very familiar and resembles several in my dmil's family. But even though we are delighted that HRH is always the one folks think of when anything about heritage comes up, how are we supposed to display things that are meant to be hung on a wall? Can't do it. So, just more for the drawers if they send it here.

My "baby niece", T, dbil's only child, had a 14-1 "season", if that's the word, in women's wrestling, 120-pound class. She's also the number two ranked women's wrestler in the state at that weight. The number one woman chose to lose almost a tenth of her body weight to be able to compete in a lower weight class, yet still almost lost to T. A college scholarship is all but assured for T at this point, so I'm happy for her, although a little bewildered by her choice of sport. She is no longer allowed, at her age, to wrestle against guys, but just before that change she was matched against the guy who had recently sort of jilted her after prom, and she showed no mercy, beat him soundly. Interesting.

We'll be up at 6 to get ready for our trip out tomorrow. HRH says he believes he might start the car ahead of time for the first time this year.

Ds called and he plans to bring our green-eyed boy over to check our well house and show him how to change the heat bulb in the lamp there.

I may know tomorrow from my main dr whether we could host a family party at our house in Dec. If so, I'll quickly get the word out. We have an unusual year because of some awkwardness, and it would just be best if the party was hosted by the matriarch.

Your dniece beat the boy who jilted her after the prom! Ooohhh, I LOVE it! (My dniece had a similar prom date once. I wish she’d had a chance to defeat that boy in wrestling!)

Well, after 9 days — yes, NINE days — finally I am home alone again. I’m just enjoying my tree and not worrying about getting other decorations out. Maybe I’ll do that Tuesday when I have to pick up Dgs after school.

I’ve set up my planner for the week and I hope to make a better effort at getting things done this week.
