Is dry milk the same thing as powdered milk? I have. A box that says dry and a recipe that calls for powdered, I’m thinking it’s the same. Going to use it for hot cocoa mix.

Good point trissie! I had a toddler and a kindergartner in 2006 though so I’d have to go back even further, pre kids, and that’s no fun.

Hi LAnn.

I’ve been working on the porch and kitchen, walked to the side door to throw out some trash and notice some packages on the step (in the rain ) so bring them in. In a box is my advent book and a Christmas gift for dd2. The other is a brown envelope with serving spoons (didn’t order but has my name on the package) and a gift notification from “Walker”. I don’t know a Walker, I don’t need serving spoons…I did order new sheets for dh and they show as delivered but aren’t in either package. How’s that for weird? I’ll give it a day then report it to Amazon if I don’t get the sheets.

I’m going to finish up pet chores and break for a late lunch.

I don't know Doggedly - but that is really cold. We're very cold (for us this time of year) too. We will not be above freezing for the foreseeable future. Thursday night, we're forecast to get down to 6F (-14.4C). I imagine you're colder than we are.

I have made a start and the night is still young. I am supping on another serving of my jollof rice from Saturday. It is just as good. Germane is disgusted that I have nothing to share with her. I did give her multiple servings of her own dog food before I sat down, but her memory is short and her longings are not.
