I have dished up a piece of potato and carrot with Germane's spoonful of dog food and she is chowing down delightedly. I want to go to the basement lockers but need to wait a bit to see if she goes to sleep. It's just so much easier to get myself and the handtruck up the stairs without her.

--That was a strategic error. That just got her excited about the possibilities of what could land in her dish, so she's checking her dish over and over and strategically depositing poop on the pee pad for more rewards.

Our toilet seat used to be heated, but that part broke and somehow we never got it fixed. A heated toilet seat actually feels softer. It's strange,I know. LOL!
Maybe Germane needs a bidet, Doggedly.

It's 9:45. MZ left around 9 pm. I was tired and didn't do anything after that but duolingo and play some games. Now, I need to get the clean sheets on the bed so dh and I can go to sleep -- although, he's already fallen asleep on the sofa.

Since my last post, I got the bathroom spiffed, dropped off the card and treat for R at the Cs' house, and brought in wood for a fire that never materialized - all before getting dinner tonight. Dh helped with dinner. MZ was here 6:45 - 9. We did after dinner clean up as well as garbage and recycling.
