I have been feeling better but by bit each day glad for that.
I have been enjoying cocoa from the pods that fit in the coffee maker.
Enjoyed dinner this evening.
Updated a file of info. for my writing notebook that felt productive.
Thanks for the good company Tuesday

Re: Thanks for the good company Tuesday
Hello -- good evening (late evening) to you all!
I have been wasting a lot of time the past hour or so just scrolling on FB and everything, BUT -- there was a purpose -- I've done a lot of Christmas shopping and organized my list a little better.
Tomorrow, I have a very hectic day, I'm afraid -- dentist at 10:00 a.m. for cleaning and finally getting the permanent filling from the root canal. I think all infection is gone and doctor will agree it looks "pristine" -- his word. If he doesn't think it looks pristine, he is sending me back to the endodontist. (Is that right? Spell check doesn't agree.)
I'll have to get up around 8:00 a.m. and y'all know that is NOT my routine.
After I leave the dentist, I am going to H*baby L*baby, to see about Christmas ornament ideas, and to get a small easel for a little book on display in my guest bathroom, AND to * hopefully * find a ribbon maker thing for dsisil. Also stocking stuffers. HL usually has candy I can't find other places.
THEN, I am going to the mall -- gift card to the movies for dbroil and dsisil and hoping inspiration hits for birthday gifts for dsisil and dniece, and maybe for dgs, who is pretty low on the gift count. I KNOW he doesn't care if he and dgd have the same amount of presents, I KNOW he knows I spend the same on each of them, and I KNOW money will suit him just as well as anything else. But I want him to have just as much as her to unwrap.
And of course, I'm trying to "even up" things with dniece and dnephew.
I really need to re-organize my list and think out my stops for tomorrow because I need to use my time wisely.
I have to stop at dmom's on the way home, because she sent me home with a 3' Christmas tree yesterday and all the ornaments she has given dgrands since their first Christmases. These are supposed to go to dgrands when they leave home. (It kinda concerns me that dmom is passing on the breakfast duties and now giving me the little tree. I don't know, is she having some sort of premonition? DS said nah, like SHE said, if we're doing Christmas at my house, the tree should be here where dgrands' can enjoy it.
ANYWAY -- I have to stop and get the third "foot" of the tree. It has three little feet/stands that clip onto it at the bottom, and I got home with only two of them! Fortunately, she found the other one today; it had fallen out of the box.
Also, dmom will want me to set out the solar lights along her front sidewalk. This is why I went out there yesterday. BUT... these lights have a top that has to be removed and a strip pulled before they will operate. Dmom and I spent at least 30 minutes trying to get those tops off. DS came by and * bam * INSTANTLY. I mean, he just opened them up as if he had been on an assembly line doing this all his life. Once again, I quoted Shakespeare in this situation -- "Oh, what learning is." DS also re-hung the painting on the wall that had fallen the other day.
I must say, these are really good lights. They have been in the backseat of my Tahoe since around 5:00 pm yesterday, inside the carport, and At Midnight, it still looked like my interior lights were on.
This has saved me one stop tomorrow -- I do not have to stop at H*me D*pot and throw myself on the mercy of their employees and let them know how inept my mother and I are.
HOWEVER -- I have to be home by 5:30 for church supper, and I expect to be at the dentist till at least 11:30 a.m.
Tomorrow night at church, the children are having a birthday party for Jesus tomorrow night and it's my group's turn for supper. Easy-peasy. BBQ owners provide the food, ddil brings drinks, I bring chips. I'll just have to be there a little early to help set up.
So -- I guess DS is my #1 blessing today... #2 (which is really the greater blessing) DGD got a good report from the rheumatologist... and #3, I guess would be successful Wmart pick-up.
Accomplishments? Well, it took me till nearly noon to get started, but I did #1 get the Wmart pick-up and put groceries away... #2 do a load of towels (which are still in the dryer and will remain there till tomorrow night, I'm sure) ... and #3 worked on Christmas cards and online shopping.
It has always been my goal to mail Christmas cards on the 10th, but it will likely be the 11th before I get them out. I'm not concerned, I have only received two so far, and I am almost done with addressing and signing. I may actually wait till the weekend, and get DGD to help me put return address labels and stamps on them.
Good night to ALL of you! Please forgive my hectic, self-centered post! Maybe by Thursday, I will be able to think again!
