That makes sense, L.Ann. We are all rooting for you! That is so nice that Little Bit was a star. You must be so proud of her.

WTG on all of that pet care, Kittykatt, and on getting the wrapping done. I would say "Now you can relax until Christmas," but I'm pretty sure that's not how it works.

We are having a warmer day here too. I carried Germane out for her walk. She declined much walking, but she did get to poop outside which made her happy. I swear she gets more exercise in my apartment than she does anywhere else. It may seem crowded to me, but she just walks under furniture so there's more exercise space for her.

Welcome back, trissie. I think that you have done more around your day at payroll than I have done yet, home all day.

I spent the last 3 days taking care of DH ... Now, it's time to jump in and get things done here: tomorrow my dkids are coming for dinner.

Trissie, I try and hand deliver cards for people within walking distance, as this meams I get exercise and enjoy a ( hopefully!) sunny day, and postage is *very* expensive and *very* unreliable these days. ( I discovered the other day that our current temporary postman can neither speak nor read English fluently ). At church we have a table where people can leave cards for their friends.

Dogged, getting the wrapping done means one big thing ticked off the Christmas list, and so one less thing to think about. I need to think about meal prep over Christmas, as most of the veg can be peeled / chopped well in advance. And I need to work out the best time to take the meat out of the freezer.

BIL arrives tomorrow morning for the weekend, so I need to get the spare room ready. Tomorrow will do, as BIL and DH are planning to go out soon after BIL arrives, and I don't want to upset the cats any earlier than I have to!

DD32 and I are going to a fancy hotel for the weekend, kittykatt. They have lots of Christmas activities. On Saturday we are going to the nearby casino. They have a theater and we are seeing a Christmas Cirque d’Soleil type show. It is DD32’s birthday present.

I take it tomorrow is your kids' last day of school before the break, trissie? I hope the WFH goes well on Monday. That must make it tough to get all the Christmas prep done. I work on Monday too - on site, but only scheduled for 2.5 hours. I'll need to grade exams (will go quick) and everything else at home on Monday. Thank God I don't have a T-Th class. Those teachers have to be at the school on Tuesday.

I did find the candy I needed for J12yo! And I got something else for her shoe, so no need to go to the pet store. I ordered something for Fable.

I ate dinner early. Dh will be here in about an hour? I still need to prep RH's room and bathroom and put together the practice exam.

Thats amazing advice gma. I wish it was quite necessary yet. I don't think I can make her room personal quite yet. It's a hospital room for now. We did bring her fuzzy blanket from the couch. As for laundry in her care level they will do it. It's hard to know though if we need to bring some of her personal clothes there. Hmm yes we do if she's going to day center from there.

It's hard cause I think she's not super happy being left there. She'll get fed well and the nurses will learn right quick how to manage her. Dad left before we did he went home to sleep.

It's so snowy here now. I have a headache and don't know what to think. Supper. Figure out if we're actually gonna do this trip in the winter conditions. I'm a little stressed
