As a she, Dogged, I just know you could find more space in the locker if needed. We can be very creative.
I love peppers and tomatoes and onions. Mmm.

Tulips need the temperature to stay below a certain point for a certain amount of time to come back, sadly for me, that’s what I’ve been told from local gardening shows anyway. Same goes for other plants I’d love to have like lilacs and peonies, although hybrids are constantly coming out so maybe some day.

Enjoy your book, kitkat. We can plant tulips here and they will come up but only one season. I do want to plant some gladiolus this year if I can find some reasonably priced and in good shape. We have daffodils, paper whites, and lilies to make up for the others.

I bought a shampoo lily last year. It has a large bloom that kind of looks like a red pine cone. You can squeeze it and a liquid comes out, the shop owner said you can use it as shampoo. That was a new one to me. It’s pretty.

Helia, he caught a possum in the turkey yard trap so had to carry it off anyway so he couldn’t refuse lol. He goes right by the restaurant.

Kittykatt, you are always so thoughtful in your responses. Your description for repotting a root bound plant was vivid and very helpful for me too. I’m sorry for the washing machine woes, I think everything has WiFi these days, I don’t understand the need to run a washer while away from home but there must be a need.

I fell asleep watching “Under the Seas” or something like that, it really was interesting, it was about the Mediterranean Sea and the people that lived there B.C. and what happened to them. Spoiler: the volcano erupted. New equipment takes photos of the sea floor and reveals items from the past like odd shaped wine vats with pointed bottoms. And now I’m wide awake so scrolling.

There's another locker, Bama.
I had no idea that lilacs and peonies don't flower in the south. In fact, I always associated lilacs with the southern states. Shows how wrong we can be.
That show sounds like the Minoans on the Isle of Santorini. My old boyfriend used to tell me about their civilization. What a loss!

I have been saving scraps of vegetable peels and tops, and the fat from the pork in the freezer for a while. It is now all wrapped up in cheesecloth with the bones of my rotisserie chicken to make brother overnight. Then tomorrow I'll take out the cheesecloth lump and make soup.
