Wtg, Peaches!

Lol Dogged, my mother was old school, didn’t talk about anything much to do with the past, so idk if she just didn’t want me to keep pestering her or she truly didn’t know.
I love the sense of humor take on a serious subject that we all have to deal with to make everyone a little more comfortable with the conversations to be had.
Germane is working her charm today!

Kittykatt, how do you clean/store the copper balls? My concern is losing them down the drain or a cat gobbling up one on the floor.

Kitkat, my maternal grandparents came over in the early 1900s. I realized yesterday that my grandfather was only 22, what a huge task to take on. His fiance was 18 and had to wait several years, just found out yesterday the first thing they did when she got here was get married. See above, my family doesn’t talk so learning as I go so it’s all very interesting to me to have a history finally.
Dpup must be well behaved and enjoy those social outings.

Forgot my list so will fetch that and post/update.

Dogged, I'm glad Germane still enjoys her wet food.

Matilda came.to bed without any trouble tonight. And has eaten her supper. I think she's still a little ."off" with me, but I'll live! 8-)

Don’t back down, kittykatt, or she will saunter in at all hours expecting cuddles and treats.

I still need to do a little in each room before dh gets home. Once he arrives my brain tells me it is quitting time. Will it happen?

Done:
Weighed and logged
Wipe down kitchen
Dw loaded and running
Sink emptied and shined
Spot clean floors - some spots soaking/now cleaned
Feed animals
Soaking some animal food bowls, washed and refilled
All litter boxes scooped, cleaned, refilled
Pu empty food cans
Ate breakfast and logged
D2S
Dh’s laundry washing drying, mop head washing
Both bathrooms cleaned
Ate lunch/logged
Paper - mail, emails, messages
Backfilled 2026 planner so caught up until today
Sweep/vacuum/mop
Package opened and new pants put in closet, greenery fluffed and put in vase (not satisfied so will look for different vase later)
Washed bottle I won at auction

Volcano eggs would be fun for my youngest dgd, LAnn

Just catching my breath while pup eats her dinner..:
Added fish oil in hope that it helps her itchiness...

Last year we did endless “explosions” KitKat. Her other favorite was mixing colored water to make new colors.

Apparently, your accomplishments were so vast that I had to nap after Page 2. Let's see if I can get through Page 3 without doing the Victorian lady thing.

Hi, Peaches.

Bama, it's great that you are getting such interesting information about your dfamily. Especially as your dmother wasn't chatty about it.

Good job on behaving in stores, kitkat's dpup. And good job kitkat on socializing dpup!

And then there's mayonnaise!

Ah, I see that Matilda has learned from her recent frustration, Kittykatt.

Science is a lot more fun these days, L.Ann. You are giving your dgranddaughter a gift to last her lifetime.

It seems that I have made it to the end of the posts without collapsing at the sight of so much productivity. Time for a little productivity of my own.

LAnn, cute craft idea.

Kitkat, I hope the fish oil helps too.

Dogged, I’m glad you have a reserve of energy. Mine is waning.

Dh went to the dealership to get his oil changed and tires rotated. They didn’t rotate the tires and the lugnuts were loose when he drove off so had to go back. That’s scary incompetence! He said he won’t go back but he has said that before, so we will see.

Spot clean floors - some spots soaking/now cleaned
Feed animals

Sweep/vacuum/mop
Package opened and new pants put in closet, greenery fluffed and put in vase (not satisfied so will look for different vase later)
Washed bottle I won at auction
Swapped lamps in living room
Took out trash
Walked dogs, played ball w Beau
Fed Lola, Tom Turkey has plenty of food
Covered plants outside
Inside plants watered
Dh called and is on his way home
Cooked supper (heated up Lima beans with ham, made cornbread)
I learned you don’t have to bake cornbread, I cooked it on the stovetop and it tastes the same. Cool on days you don’t want to use the oven

That is scary, Bama! It's a good thing that your dh knows his vehicle well enough to notice before anything happened to him.

Monday
Made new Procrastaccomplishments list for the week
Updated Goals
Washed a couple of basinsful of dishes
Fed Germane
Wrote a review for projector
Watered a plant
Discovered where Germane had peed on the floor BEFORE stepping in it–win!
Cleaned up after dog
Checked if I can bring old phone to Best Buy for recycling: yes, my store does that
Covered the dw for the week
Restocked main room paper towels
Restocked TP
Wiped down rice cooker and put it away
Set up small slow cooker
Prepared a carrot and a few potatoes and started them cooking for Germane
Fed Germane. She got to sample her carrots and potatoes.
Spiffed self
Put away dry dishes
Put away dry laundry
Put away the big drying rack

That is reallly scary, bama. Is there any other auto maintenance/ repair shop where you are that will do better?
I hope Matilda is sleeping well tongiht for kittykatt.
That sounds liek an interesting activity, L.ann. Do you have a budding scientist / chemical engineer/
trissie, I hope it's a better day at work for you.
helia, you are managing to keep busy, even without appointments.
laurlind, how are your parents faring?
Hi doggedly, are you going to bed early tonight also?

Everyone here is talking about how cold it is. tomorrow is supposed to be 10 degrees warmer. I can only hope. Just barely got above 0 today, but was windy all day so there was a windchill. I have made a list for tomorrow's "heat wave"! ( Might even get to bed early, then try to talk myself into getting up and moving when I wake up.
Grocer
bank
dept of transportation - phone call first, then perhaps a visit, to inquire about toll roads and auto pay.
Menard's
Gather summer clothes for my vacation. Days are going by fast.
Check mother's house and mail.
Evening class.

It will be another full day.
