I am glad your job is a stable one, lauralind, but from what you write, they really would be foolish to risk losing a hardworking one when the new hires are not that dedicated!
magnolia painted house sounds lovely, kittykatt, and it probably provides good backing to all those blooming flowers you have!
helia, being an ESL teacher in USA nowadays is probably not too optimistic...
Dogged, my mom's ex boyfriend had a private ski slope! I mean, it was just a 200 yard downhill meadow, but he was an electric engineer and built a very basic ski lift. Mom date him for about four years, when I was 10 to 14, and we would go to his cottage every weekend in winter, so I had plenty practise back then.

TaDas
- DBD's homework
- midday routine
- afternoon routine
- 10 in master bedroom
- vacuum hallway upstairs
- windex all family photos and placed them back on piano top (they were put away to make space for Christmas decorations and I hadn't gotten around to putting them back)
- dinner

ToDos
- last 30 and then reading till bedtime!

Trissie, must be pretty cool to have a ski slope all to yourself.

The dark colored houses I’ve seen look nice so I’m hoping. We can always paint over it, it’s small so it wouldn’t take too much effort. Hope Germane is eating for you.

Luckily DD33 is the happiest person you ever met, helian. But she also has the worst stutter I have ever seen. I think she is perfectly understandable but there have definitely been many people who act like she is not. If you are looking for a good short beautiful and haunting book I just finished the Ferryman and his Wife. It is a Norwegian novella about a ferryman making his last journey on the last day of his life and picking up the ghosts of all the people that were important to him in his life.

1-Little Bit while her parents shovel my sidewalk
2-dinner prep

Menus
Monday-sausage and chickpea soup
Tuesday-cooking class gnocchi
Wednesday-DD33 out/me leftovers
Thursday-quick meal before theater
Friday-garlic shrimp and Spanish style potatoes
Saturday-buffalo chicken grain bowls

I took a screenshot of that book for when I’m in that kind of mood, LAnn.

Never empty the lint filter after you wash your hands. Especially when the dryer is full of throws the pets lay on.

Kittykatt, the local news had a story of a trash can from my county that somehow traveled all of the way to Weymouth, England. It would have had to travel the gulf around the peninsula of Florida and across the ocean. It was covered in barnacles but you could read the county name on it.

Wow. That's a well-traveled trash can, Bama!!
I'll look into that book, L Ann. Short is good sometimes. That's neat to hear that DD33 is so happy! It must be nice to live with such a happy person!
Yeah, Doggedly and trissie, true -- this may not be a great time for my industry. We shall see. Our school's owner is very good at drumming up business. He's actually a businessman - and a business professor at the university. Because of him, we survived Covid when many other programs folded.
Hope you enjoyed reading, trissie.
Looks like you've been busy, Doggedly.
Fresh air is lovely, Bama! And that's a pretty color for a house!
Hi kitkat! I don't think I know him, though I've certainly heard of Slaughterhouse Five. Another author to read.

I took note of that book, LAnn!

For my Miss Marple and Poirot loving friends:
I've only read the books... I think, maybe one time I saw an episode on TV, decided that was not how I pictured the characters and stayed with the books.

helia - A VERY interesting author, with a LOT to say .

Waving to all my other accomplished SHE-friends:) The day REALLY got away from me but we did include a trip for pup and DGD to the bookstore.

There will be an early start tomorrow- my help is wanted/needed at Dson. So I'm off to bed.
Have a great night Everyone.

Good night, kitkat

What a wonderful thing for a young teenager, trissie, your own private ski hill!

That's a nice thing, Bama, being able to take a chance on the colour as you are not overly committed to it.

L.Ann, I'm sure that it is frustrating for your DD33 when people don't understand her. I hope that most people she meets are kind.

Bama, I have a hilarious image of you with yeti hands. Revenge of the dryer!
That trash can had quite the adventure!

helia, those people still need to learn English. If you don't get enough work at your school, might you be able to offer classes online?
