Twins - I have been thinking about the sudden conflict between cloud servers. I backup to 4 cloud servers without a problem.....so now I'm wondering if is something that is about to happen to me too. The files I back up to Dropbox and Onedrive are kept in two completely different folders on my PC.
My OneDrive folder is C:/users/myname/Onedrive
My Dropbox folder is C:/users/myname/Dropbox
The cloud servers only backup files from their own locations.
Anything outside of these file locations is not backed up.
I rarely open and use a file directly from the cloud location. I do not like working on the cloud because of the occasional lag in real time updates. I can type fast and it frustrates me for the screen to not stay up with me. For that reason and others, I always open & use the file that is stored on my pc. The cloud software will automatically backup the changes made from the local file so the cloud backup file is almost always current.

The other cloud backup servers I use are amazon and google but they are mostly photos and videos that backup from my camera (phone) when i take a picture.

Uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling Dropbox seems easier troubleshooting option to me than messing with onedrive because it has CRAZY msoft tenacles.

Whimsical. I just put out the "Groundhog Day" garden flag by the mailbox. And sent past due "Reminders" for the HOA dues.

I walked the ddog 2/3 mile and she did not offer to poop. But, except for a little bit of dog food with meds, she has not eaten since Friday night. But when someone came by to drop something off, she was outside showing off, and with a little encouragement (and the squeaky Squirrel) she was zooming all around the yard.

Our regular vet returns from a long weekend on Tuesday. I may try to call and get her in on an emergency basis on Tuesday? Or talk to him. We have some photos of her bottom from this a.m.

I need to do some planning for tomorrow. Back to 2 p.m. workouts. And we're out for dinner tomorrow night.

LadyM, I just don't know. I use Dropbox for storage of Excel and Word files, Evernote for genealogy documents, images, stamp set images and sentiments (via tags,) My downstairs laptop (the one I take to repositories and on trips, etc.). is fine. The upstairs laptop, which has more memory in theory to keep more tabs open for research activities is the one with the issues. I don't actually back either computer up because my files are all stored in the cloud. I can't wait to go upstairs tomorrow and see if Dropbox can be used. My writing and research notes are all in Dropbox. I think that OneDrive is worse than a virus honestly.

DS17 and GF16 are officially engaged. Their friend group had a busy afternoon with attending another friend baby shower and then going to the engagement event. They are now cooking supper in the kitchen.

I got overconfident in my ability to walk on ice, and one wrong step sent me slipping on the ice-covered concrete. My knees, hips, and hands are sore, but I don’t think there’s any long-term damage. Tomorrow the temps will be in the 60's and they will be in the 70's by Friday. I won't be sad to see the snow/ice melt.

Congratulations to your DS and DGF, Lady M! I'm sorry you slipped on the ice, that can be scary as well as painful. I hope any bruising and the pain subside soon.

Twi s, as you're still worried about Millie, I think it would be a good idea to see your regular vet when he's back. Photos can be *very* helpful, especially if the patient is not particularly compliant!
