WTG on the baking and food prep, Kitty!
Oh my goodness, kitkat. Glad you were OK.
Doggedly, interestingly, you, kitkat, and myself all said the exact same thing about red squirrels and gray squirrels - independent of each other. LOL! I think it's just a strange but common sight, the small red squirrel chasing the much larger gray squirrel. I have never cooked duck!

Well, I don't have any tadas to post. I got tired of the NY cards, and was just piddling around. AC messaged me that I've been assigned the advanced reading class next session. Yay! I like teaching reading, and it's a T-Th class, which means I will have long weekends. 8-)

I need to do my back exercises and s2s. I'm actually feeling antsy so I think a walk would be good - but not sure I have enough time now. We'll see. . .

helia - I forgot to mention that the mechanic counted 80 walnuts under the hood  .
I'm glad it's not so cold by you. It's pretty unbearable out now...
Kittykatt - thank you. I just need to do specific ones... In my mind, I was done with exercises once I left the gym
Dogged I was amazed at your (and your DB's ) computer knowledge.

My little ones have arrived, so I will be doing laundry in the meanwhile...

Well I ran out of motivation again. Kittykat must know where it is. She is always doing something.

This morning went really well. Mom was really happy for her chair. It's still figuring where to stay yet. The dresser is nice. Can put some things in it yet and we need to print some pictures for her yet. A very sweet visit with auntie that came with us to visit her. Then we picked up dad's meds and decided to bring them to him. Since we had her truck there once more we took home some of mom's big plants πŸ˜†. I now have a giant 30 inch jade plant in bloom and a big fig tree to attempt to keep alive. They almost died in the house cause dad didn't water. Sometimes mom used to water twice and too much. Plus big bin full of mom's craft supplies to share with my girls. And throw out some things πŸ˜†.

Came home. Made lunch and a few groceries and then ds made supper and I crashed. Memories looking through the bin. I think I swept the floors after moving plants around. Oh and Reorganize my shelving so the big jade can fit in the sunny windows.

I should have done more. I could have done more. Still reviving the energy and drive i guess.

(Lost a post, don't konw what happened, so this will be short.)
Had a wonderful time at the theater. This was the last day of their winter show. Next week they start their new feature, which will go until September.
MrVKM birthday was Monday, so this was his birthday present from me.
Laurlind, I see you brought a chair and dresser to your mom. Has she moved, or is this an addition to her room?
DfBS most likely comes home from the hospital tomorrow - meaning I go to get her after church, then spend a couple hours getting her settled in, going over her new meds, etc. Her pharmacy is not open on Sunday, so I'll have to check if there is anything she will need Sunday evening.
Sunday is supposed to be 7 degrees warmer than today, so that will be nice. And Monday even nicer. Both highs above freezeing! Then dropping again. :( brr!

That is funny that we all have the same impression about the red squirrels, helia. Maybe because we are fond of our cheeky grey squirrels?
I've never cooked duck either. The wonderful thing about cooking for dogs, is that you don't have to do it well. You just have to cook meat thoroughly enough not to poison anyone.
Woo hoo on an interesting course and long weekends. :D

I'm happy to share my knowledge, Kittykatt. Perhaps even a little more than is called for, LOL.
I'm glad that you got some time to spend with your dolls house.

That is a pretty impressive haul of walnuts, kitkat. With today's prices, it would be tempting to encourage the critters to collect them for us.

That's nice that you got to have a visit with your dgrandson on the phone, L.Ann.

Hi, Peaches

Oh, a 30 inch jade plant sounds so beautiful, Lauralind. You have had a very productive day, and great visiting with dfamily.

Gma, I'm glad that you had a good time at the theatre. It's so good to take the time out to enjoy things.

Saturday
Cleaned up after dog.
Worked on budget sheet to track weekly spending
CUOP
Checked laundry and put away dry
Spread the next lot of tshirts around the apartment to finish drying
Put away dry dishes
Wiped down rice cooker and put it away
Filled dw to run tonight
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed a couple of basinsful of dishes
Compared internet plans from different vendors
Made a decision
Washed hair/spiffed self
Wiped out tub
Was delighted to find the same small slow cooker that I have. Mine is showing cracking in the glaze, which means that there will be bacteria building up in the cracks. I was disappointed to find that my grocery store doesn’t carry slow cookers at all. Other chains I looked at only had bigger ones. I finally found one the right size on Walmart’s web site. But now I found another grocery store an easy drive from me that has the exact model I have, which means that I will be able to discard the cracking liner, but put the lid and outer part in the basement as spare parts.

Not a long list, but I'm ready to pack it in for the night. Have a good one!
