Moving around is helping how I feel, been sluggish and no energy lately, so I’m a happy camper.

Updating list and then off to the showers.

I'm glad that you are starting to feel better, Bama. I am burning with curiosity about your bunny topiaries. Are they living plants already trained/cut into the shape of rabbits and shipped that way?

Started duck cooking for dog

There is no room for vegetables in the slow cooker, so I'll do it in two stages. Cook the duck in water tonight, and then tomorrow remove the duck and strip off the meat and put vegetables in the broth to cook for Germane.

I am briefly home, had a little soup with cheese and bread. Now have to head back to the city for my errands. Then to mother's to continue working on the mail, and other things.

It's a gorgeous day here! I AM going to treat myself to a walk before leaving. it's 50F! that's about +9C.

So glad to get in! I’m on my phone. I had to change my password. Friend R was taken suddenly to the hospital. S is out of town. J12yo called me and told me his symptoms. I talked to her grandma who was with her and told them to call 911. I rode in the ambulance with R and dh followed with J12yo and her grandma. We’re taking turns sitting with him in the ER room. He threw up and was very nauseous and not very responsive. He’s still not super responsive and seems to be sleeping. Once the doctor comes in and tells us what is going on we’ll decide what to do.

Dh is now taking J12yo and her grandma home. R is worried about his mother in law getting sick while here, and probably also J12yo. R is still an MD even when he’s the patient! lol! Dh will pick up R’s phone and bring it back. We probably won’t go to the concert tonight.

Yay for your DH’s retirement being accepted, kittykatt. I am enjoying the birds…. Even if they are pigs! I hope your friend is feeling better soon, helian. If you aren’t masked I highly suggest it if you are at the hospital.

Just talked to DD41 for a long time on the phone and have let the dog in and out a million times. I really need to do paperwork but I am leaving that until tomorrow.

lol LAnn at your piggy birds. The wild birds here have started eating the cat food. I guess they’ve used up a lot of energy flying across the gulf and back.

I made cheese quesadillas for supper. Walked the dogs. Cleaned some biohazards on the foyer floor. Now I’m chilling. Might see if there’s any good movies or shows to watch.

Our birds went hungry today, L Ann. I didn’t get to refilling the feeder. We are wearing masks in the hospital.
Bama, quesadillas sound good! We haven’t eaten dinner yet…. I’m hungry.

Dh and I are still in the ER with R. The doc is finally here. He does have viral pneumonia but that didn’t cause the vomiting and unresponsiveness. I think they’re going to do an MRI of his head.
