I've swept all the floors and mopped all of them! Dh and I have had our coffee and hot chocolate.

Curling is on the TV!

Dh asked me to take off the compression socks. Now he is sleeping again even with women's curling on! (Lots of high pitched yelling! CURL!! HARD!! GOGOGOGOGO!!)

As far as I know, the PSW is coming to help dh in the shower at 11 a.m. I have spray febreeze all around.

We have a long weekend here and it's cold. Warmer days starting on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yay!!

Supper tonight will be soup and sandwich.

Good morning to blessed and Cathy!

Hoping lucylee discovers all her roof needs is a repair. And maybe slow savings plan toward a new roof cost one day.

Cathy, I know it is Flag Day Sunday, but didn't realize there would be a long weekend. Enjoy the curling competitions.

I've been thinking that I need to make a cleaning detour and continue with the area around the media cabinet while I'm noticing what's needed. So that may be today, with getting back to other Storage later. There's actually some "wet" cleaning needs becoming a bit obvious right now, too, so I may tackle some extra.

I need to make a DPC to a dr's office. I've gotten some competing advice about prescription, so I need to ask questions.

Another DPC would be to tax preparer, actually. Always so busy, don't want to neglect getting an appt. before it's too difficult.

yay on all your work!!! Whether it is storage work, media cabinet, wet cleaning needs etc. -it's wonderful!
have a wonderful day d harriet and d cathy (and all)

mom was good yesterday. knock on wood - her a fib is better which gives her a clear mind.
she is leaning more to one side bc she hasn't been in her walker at all this week.
I didn't cook the last two days.

mom walk and fitness.
goals today: call for dr. appointment for me
room by room put away
laundry room and laundry
bird seed put out
dogs
water inside plants
menu plan

mom has been awake but I asked her to wait a bit before getting up. I need time before I start my day. She generally calls out for her sister. (the two were so close and so fun).(they called each other their "Gumba" "Goombah"" - true friend and confidant.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Good morning

I'm in my 3rd hour of the day and staying current with pathways plan.

Local handyman is here to do a few repairs. A little insulation installed, a few spots of sheetrock replacement, a ceiling fan repaired, adjust outside door jamb and what else? It seems a home always has something that needs repaired/replaced, especially when it is 60+ years old.

Time seems to go by so fast. Five years ago today we signed final adoption papers on DD14. She had been living with us full time for about 3 years before that and part time the previous 3 years. ***Blink*** ***Blink*** ****Blink**** on one perspective it seems time just zooms by. On another perspective I see all the things that need to be done in the next hour. One hour at a time.

PSW has come and gone. Waterproof "bandages" are still doing their job. The top layer is clear and keeps the water out and they are still holding everything else in. Dh has made it quite clear that he will not go back to the nurse's office. He wants them to come here. SIGH!!

My conga will be taking me out and about today. Dfriend K texted and asked if I could bring her home from the mechanic's in a bit; I need to return my AT&T equipment since we switched to Spectrum for our internet (and of course, I have waited till the last minute), and we have to drive a couple of hours to a friend's father's wake. I don't know if DH is planning to go out again tomorrow morning for the funeral; he hasn't said so, so I'm thinking not. At any rate, this friend, his wife, and his dad all worked with DH at summer camp for many years, so I know them as well from my summers out there tagging along. (Since the camp weekend ran from after Saturday lunch to before Sunday lunch, my choices were live there -- in a cabin, thank goodness! -- or not see my husband all summer.)

Till then, I should work on a grocery list -- another thing I have put off. Just give me a gold medal in procrastination!

Sorry about the curling result, Cathy. I know it is not what was expected -- the commentators said that this particular Canadian team had beaten this particular American team the past 18 meetings, Olympic and non, prior, or something like that.

And K is home, so I must go! Have a great day, everybody!

I slept in this a.m. - didn't set alarm. I've had to get up and at it the last three mornings (body work, hair cut and cleaning lady) so I treated myself. The house is clean (dcleaning lady) and there's not a lot OMM today, although there should be. But I'm not thinking of shoulds for today.

I made HOA deposits remotely this a.m. - I down to three families unpaid. All were texted on Monday, no reply from two and one sent me a "thumbs up" image. I revised financial statements yesterday, thinking through some issues further, so the info to send to the board is percolating and I'll review again.

I need to get to pet supply store to get canned dog food. She's not eaten much this week but just confounded me by eating all the dry food that was set down for her yesterday a.m. when she got her meds in a ball of wet food.

I need to eat my brunch!

I'm having visons of the ice dancing/conga line going through today...
