Twins' Mom we have a phone appointment with dh's regular doctor NEXT Friday to discuss whether or not (because dh prefers to NOT) carry on with the absorbent pads and comp. socks. I know he is an impatient man, but only using the comp. socks once, and for less than 24 hours and then saying "no more" was a bit ridiculous. I swear he' acts like such a baby sometimes...

I decided to stay home and watch Olympics today rather than go to knitting. Plus dh was snuggled on the couch/sofa so I snuggled under the blankets with him.

YAY!! Canadian women's team won their curling game this morning!!

I think the hockey should be a good game this afternoon.

I tackled the stack of appointment cards and got them entered on the calendar and the paper planner updated. There are nine dentist appointment in the next 6 months or so. Plus 2 appointments for DS17 at family doctor. Plus 1 appt for DD14 with dietitian. I think I have all of DH appt entered already. Hope so anyway. Oops. one other to enter is getting DD14 blood work done this Friday.

DS17 called to share the happy news that Logan and Ava had their baby boy and everyone is doing good.

I've gathered all the Valentine decorations that I could see into one spot. I've got some in the washer machine while I let time pass. I tend to stop noticing the home decor so I have to be intentional about looking for it. Once I feel confident that I've got it all then I'll pack it into the pink tub and store it away for next year.

I have had my lunch wrap w/out meat was excellent.
Walked a short one today it's brisk and windy. 39* F.
Taking a bit of a breather now.
Ddoggo is resting too.

Gardened a tiny bit dug out 2 Canadian thistles.
Saw my daffs. are up and budding green still.
Washed & dried my hair.
Did up my dishes & put em away as well.

I will need to do the stat bike and basement walk about to get in the rest of my exercises today.
It' is too cold out to do any more of a walk.

Not sad but feeling weepy weather coming in this happens some times when it rains for me.

How did it get so late in the DAY so soon???

I've done nothing except d2s & do my Bible study. I also did floor exercises and some of the yoga poses, trying to loosen up my back and shoulder.
Straighten the bed and s/s the toilet in master bath.
Talked to dmom who is having trouble with her tv -- good news there -- a technician is supposed to be coming this afternoon.

Posting without cu -- I need to call the retirement system and get clear info re: Medicare. One of my classmates is all concerned about it, said he was going to a meeting tomorrow at the local library. I think it is pretty much an automatic switch over to my secondary insurance when I hit 65 (or 3 months before, yes) and will probably be cheaper to stay with the teacher plan, rather than going out on my own. Must get that phone number.

Then, school pick up for dgd, go to her house, get practice things, go to sports store for her to try on jerseys, then to ball practice. DS or DDIL will reliever me when they get back to town.
Tomorrow is another day.

I skipped the "knitting" group to stay home and watch the Olympics today. The Canadian men's curling team are on to the medal games tomorrow!!
I don't even knit at these groups, I'm the cross stitcher at every group I go to. Sometimes others do cross stitch or embroidery or crochet. There is a scarf I want to work on at some point in the future.

PSW has come and gone. Dh says she is very efficient and he is happy with her.

The temperature went up, so I went to the grocery store and got myself some bagels. I don't know how that bag of chips got into my cart.

Great workout, wasn't sure I could get through some of it but somehow did. Heavier weights chest and row, hard 1.5 min on bike, leg press with additional band to work outer thighs, all x three but I am home. I always feel better, whether it's just that I'm done until Monday or that I feel accomplished and stronger. Stopped at drugstore on the way home for scripts.

I need to walk ddog soon. Mid seventies here and more humid - we had rain this a.m.

Glad to hear Twins' had a good workout and Cathy and dh felt good about the healthcare visit.

LadyM, congratulations to ds17's friends.

We ended up having to have yet another visit from the HVAC folks because they didn't have the right filter on their van the first time. That was fine - didn't inconvenience us since we had no errands today.

I made a point, however, to write down all the info on this unusual filter so that we can order it ourselves, saving money next time. We'd like it changed every 6 months because this time after only 10 months it looked really bad, so annually won't be enough. We may already have to pay for the installation somewhat, even though the plan includes annual check-ups, but we certainly don't need to pay a premium price for a filter we can find ourselves.

The indoor plant regimen is finished and they look great, the floral ones going crazy. Swiffered the whole area around their windows, floor underneath, and wiped up surfaces, too.

Italian tonight, with a new red sauce that HRH had read has a good reputation for not causing any acid issues. So far, so good. He made a nice garlic topping for croissants, blessed, so not all Italian, I guess, lol. Hoping your French bread tastes great.
