Friday Conga Line PWYC
It's time to conga! All through the house, all about town, fall in line as you work, drop off as needed. Carmen Miranda fruity hat is optional.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
Thanks for the start Twins' Mom!! I will try to start off slowly with the music on low. Dh turned off the fan in the bedroom which woke me up. Then he went to the couch/sofa and turned on the Olympics and he was asleep within moments.
I've taken out a small bag of compost from the container on the kitchen counter. I've also taken out the kitchen garbage. One of the cats went outside for a few minutes. I've also been unloading the dishwasher.
Snow continues to melt, which is nice.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
Hello to all! I did not realize how much that workout took out of me yesterday. I ended up quite achy and overtired last night and went to bed early. I was achy at times in the night and took ibuprofen about 4 a.m. when the dog went out for a minute. I still feel achy this morning.
And I had forgotten that dh is going out of town today - to the state bowling tournament. He'll be back midday on Sunday so I have about 48 hours on my own. I'm hoping I feel well enough to do some writing and stamping. And I'll order myself Door Dash food at least once.

Gee, that sounds wonderful - 48 hours of quiet time for your own pursuits while dh has fun and makes memories himself. A good deal all around.
The weather has been a big part of our morning as a storm came through and changed our plans for us. Wasn't supposed to affect us much, but HRH had gone outside for something, and he came back in saying it felt like rain in the air, and strange. Sure enough, within about 5 minutes the trees were swaying in a loud, driving rain. Eek. We think we'll stay in a while and see what the afternoon looks like, lol. Glad we hadn't already started out.

Harriet, when I was up with the dog in the 4 a.m. range I glanced at my phone and saw we had a weather alert - for strong gusty winds and perhaps thunderstorms, but only until 7 a.m. I later heard strong rain and a hint of thunder through my sleep - and weather is clearing now and sunny, high of 70, for the afternoon.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
mom is awake but doesn't want to get up yet - she said she just wants to enjoy being comfy for a bit!
it's starting snowing - flurries after having 3 days of 60's and 50's - it was lovely!!!
I have to admit that I am enjoying my bread. It's white flour, wheat flour and rye flour - delicious
the bread I made last night looks horrible but tastes great. I tried to make French bread.
waving to everyone - going to eat breakfast and start getting mom up.
we don't have a helper today and I am enjoying a quieter morning - it's a lot to have people every day. helpful. I do wish I had them for getting her up and washing her down, I also struggle to get her into the bed for her nap. I can put the top half of her while some grabs her legs. I can get her up right now as she is stronger.
next: turn on dw
9:30 is the latest I can have mom rest.
it takes an hour to get her washed, dressed and another hour for her to eat breakfast.
outside the workers are back.
plan for this weekend - make apple cinnamon buns for freezer - I also need to make a raspberry sauce for easter' French toast.

Blessed apple cinn. buns sound awesome.
OMM: today baking up bread a double batch to use up flour I did not get to that yesterday.
Also double corn bread batch for ddoggo I'll put in the last of the oats too. Those are baking I did small round balls
like cookie dough it was a stiff dough perfect for that! They are a hit!
Two batches of bread are rising; got the flour used I wanted to use up yea!
Trying round loaves this time some thing I've not done to my satisfaction yet.
Those are baking now. The trick is to use a round bowl to bake them in.
Cleaned up the counters and rinsed up the dishes.
Put em away.
Then consider mopping.
On today's menu /Fish Friday.
We got a skiff of snow last nite. It's not on the roads. Only snow to speak of this winter so far.
Mon. snow in the forecast but the temps. do not support that one.
Got the last paragraph on a pen pal letter done.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
Good morning
It wasn't predicted to freeze last night, but the frozen water in the bird baths told a different story this morning. Looking at the weather history shows it did drop below freezing between 5am- 8am. I will have to wait for a few hours for signs of damage to the tender new sprouts in the raised beds. I would have covered them if I knew it was going to freeze. Ohs well. It is part of the gamble in planting early. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Looking at the calendar this morning revealed we are 3 weeks away from DD14 appointment about her thyroid. That means I don't need to take her to the blood lab today.
Dancing my way through the morning....
3 beds have been stripped, and the sheets are in the washer.
DH weekly Ozempic shot is laying out to warm up a bit before it is given.
Breakfast cupcakes, fried potatoes/peppers/onions, bagels made
Mac & cheese made with extra cheese.
.....
editing because WHERE IS EVERYONE?
More cooking to stock the ready-to-eat dishes
** Ground beef cooked with multiple seasonings
** Chicken cooked in butter & bbq
** received 3 phone calls about upcoming medical appointments.
** I'm on lap #8 of the circle driveway
