I'm up -- I was kinda like your dmom, blessed -- enjoyed being comfy in bed for a while after the alarm went off. (I'm setting my alarm 30 minutes earlier these days, but so far, I am ignoring it when it goes off.) I did feel like I slept well, had the ceiling fan running, and I had a really nice dream. Kinda hated to wake up from it.
So far, I'm d2s (no make-up) and I've done my breakfast and Bible reading, straightened the bed and did my morning exercises. My back still hurts though -- it feels so tight in the mornings and it is hard for me to straighten up sometimes. I'm trying to concentrate on my posture a little more.

The wind last night! YES. It woke me up. My bedroom is on the northeast corner of the house, and I guess it was whipping around that corner? It sounded like it was going to blow the house away! I remembered the weather girl said gusts might be over 40 mph in some places, and I went back to sleep, but it was definitely a stronger wind than I have experienced in a long while!

Oh -- and my daffodils ARE blooming -- well, at least one little bunch of them.

I'm going to try that insurance office again, and then get busy with this tax info. That's where I'll be doing the conga! :D
Tomorrow is another day.

hello - mom has been asleep for 1 hour - I was able to vacuum out the front hall closet - I now have my shoes and d mom's shoes in there.
Gracie dog keeps whining today bc the squirrels are outside our back door - :D
tossed 5 pairs of old shoes - some mom, mostly me.

time to move our safety box downstairs as well as the insurance file.
bring dd youngers shoes upstairs
I will start dinner soon. I am not hungry but I know I need to follow through on making dinner
laundry washing itself.

it's been nice not having anyone here today - I am grateful dd older came back in time to get mom to bed as she started to argue with me and didn't get up easily after the bathroom.

I am not sure if I wrote what we are having

tonight stuffed shells, garlic bread, zucchini provencal.

All of that is done. I will probably try to drop it off with the accountant next Thursday when I go to the ob-gyn.

DGD will be here a little after 6:00. I told ds to drop her off after practice. He might have wanted me to pick her up from practice, but I'm thinking I need a little more time for me, since I'm going to have both of them tomorrow and Sunday until after 4:00 pm.

Talked to dmom.
Tomorrow is another day.

Good evening, everybody! I am fighting a case of the Idonwannas. I have girls' night tomorrow, and I have to make soup. We are starting with book club at 4, so I'm going to need to be out of the house by a bit after 3:30. It takes me extra time to cook because I have to sit so often. After a few minutes at the counter, my back starts killing me. Some stuff I can do seated at the table, but it's still not as efficient. Oh, well, perhaps this will ease as I lose weight. At any rate, I would do better to at least get things prepped tonight.

Feeling a little lonely this evening. DH and DD are at the hockey game, and DC is ensconced in their room, so it's quiet around here. Often I like the quiet, but for some reason, not so much tonight. You'd think doing something (like making soup) would make me feel a little better, but I'm still having trouble dragging my butt into the kitchen.
