I got sidetracked.
But it's OK b/c now, I have my evil storage room DC-ed!

Bonus:
I set up a three tier cart on wheels in the pantry for cleaning supplies. Very pleased with that.

Now, I'll need a (half) day to deal with all the art supplies in there.

Hello, all. It is a beautiful sunny day here. I ended up not cooking Germane's pork stew last night, so I cooked her another piece of fish to keep her going.

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt, and for the interesting information about marsh mallows. I knew that there had to be some relationship between the flower and the candy, but thought it was just that the candy kind of looked like the flower.

kitkat, L.Ann uses an app to organize her recipes and shopping if I remember correctly. She has given us the name of it more than once, but I keep forgetting it. I'm sure that I signed up for it at some point.

helia, there are cleaners like CLR that are specifically created to dissolve hard water deposits. (CLR stands for Calcium Lime Rust). The CLR web site shows the demonstrator turning off the water to the toilet to soak it:

Both daughters came home for the weekend, to car shop for dd2, so we spent Saturday shopping, she got a vehicle, we ate at a new bbq restaurant, Sunday we went to an older restaurant that we’ve never tried and walked around an arts and crafts festival before sending the girls in their way. I thought I’d be a bundle of energy this morning, I got up and fed everyone, drank some coffee, curled up in bed and vegged my morning away. It’s time to get cracking.

Hi, Bama. WTG on getting the car purchase sorted.

I have got my new wifi set up, and have connected two devices to it. So far, so good. My experience is the same as on my old internet, which is 10 times as fast. The test will be Friday night and the weekend, as cable is shared bandwidth, whereas fibre is dedicated, I understand. I'm anticipating that holiday eves and March Break will not be unadulterated joy. But again, retired lady paying 1/3 as much can wait for the kids to go back to school.

I use the copymethat app for recipes, KitKat. I just use the free version. I like it because it is super easy to copy recipes from online. I put in ones from cookbooks too but you do need to type those out. I like that you can organize them by topic like beans, chicken etc so I can look at specific categories.

Hello everyone!.
That's a lot of travelling for your DH , Helia. I'm glad you had a lovely time yesterday evening.

KitKat, I used to do a lot of sewing and embroidery (and knitting and crochet) pre-cat. However, with all those little paws, it really isn't a realistic no proposition. I'm just in hemming the tablecloths - it was so much cheaper to buy lengths of red checked gingham, and hem them myself, and the fabric is also a lot better quality than the premade versions. It's also something I can pick up and put down again as necessary.

That sounds a fun, but busy weekend, Bama.
