Re: Have a Wonderful Wednesday in PWYC!
Mystery Woman, my youngest is supposed to be on Medicaid as he doesn't get insurance in any of his 3 jobs but I am not sure he did his check in like he was supposed to. My middle one finally has a job with insurance at his school and my oldest has good insurance with the Actor's Equity Union. Youngest is avoiding me because I want him to complete his applications we found on Sprout Monday and he is absolutely not doing it which annoys the crap out of me. While he has 3 mini jobs, totally he works less than 10 hours a week most weeks. Enough for spending money, I don't charge them rent but he is about to assume payment on phone and insurance. Middle just got a job at first year teacher salary and he is looking for a house to fix up or property to build on. Most we find in his price range to fix up are 100 or more years old. He really wants to build so we have to see if there is a way for that to happen. He was approved for a lot more than I think he can afford because he has no debt and owns his car but his car is old. It is a Honda which live forever and he takes good care of it. It looks a bit like a Frankenstein car as he got hit by a bus when he lived in Minnesota and it cracked his back bumper so he stitched it back together with zipties so it has a scar - kind of cute really. Bus turned the corner as he was backing and the bus's horn was broken and neither could avoid a minor collision. The cost of insurance this year is absolutely ridiculous. I loved the until 26 rule but I really thought he would have insurance by now, he graduated in 2024 with cyber security degree and he has not tried very hard but only had like 3 interviews so I have helped him find 3 side hustles.
blessed - the graduation robes are from my GED program I teach for. I wrote 2 grants over the years to get these robes. They wear them for 1 hour. We got the 20 each cheapies but they wash well in cold and hang to dry but the students are a bit brutal with the zippers and they get ripped away at the bottom so I repair robes each year. We didn't have many grads last year so I have had these in my closet for 1.5 years and it is time to get them repaired. Honestly it will take 1 hour probably at most and then I will fluff dry them to get out wrinkles and hang and take back.
Got an appointment for my dachsund as a drop off tomorrow morning at 8. He seems better of course by tomorrow he won't be acting wierd at all.
Got first load of table clothes dried, will run fold before I leave for school. Hoping the wash will be done to put in dryer. One more load in the tub to do tonight. They do look whiter and they smell amazing, the lavender Oxyclean is awesome.
Just flipped last load into washer and dryer, headed towork.

Re: Have a Wonderful Wednesday in PWYC!
Started my morning with my exercise class.
Came home and Sweetie had already showered and was partially dressed.
I made him his breakfast and did my morning routines and then we headed to the lawyer’s office. We are having our trust updated and they wanted a copy so they could look at it and then discuss details on Friday in a phone call.
Stopped at a place where I had taken my computer to be fixed which they did and brought it home and now I need to hook it up. I’m going to take sweeties in sometime during the week.
I have a couple of bills to pay and a few phone calls to make, and that will make my day. Sweetie is outside in a change lounge, enjoying the sun, and Coco is sitting with him
Next step I need to make my lunch and his after that who knows.
Hope y’all are having a good day. See you later.

counters, sink, microwave front etc. look nice
laundry folded and put away
now to do mom's laundry
dh finished cutting up boxes - he likes to do that for recycling.
added flour/water to my sourdough starter (try to make my starter to work lol). dd told me to give it 14 days bc we are so much cooler her than where she is. (especially with the heat turned off in family room and kitchen. )

Re: Have a Wonderful Wednesday in PWYC!
HRH would probably enjoy having smart-house features. I suppose he does have networking smart-features, but none that translate to chores!
Nancy and Mystery, I will say this about my house's intelligence - it does warn me sometimes.
Wafting odor may be an alert, because windows maintain enough of a draft to whisper P and P's charming reminder, "does it need a little Pine Sol in here?". Slightly overgrown shrub or tree may give me a scritch-scratch to let me know the wind's picked up. Helpful limits on electrical use are better for the environment... .. or something. Having wisely decided to "settle" a bit, the house allows certain pests (the smallest kind) to sometimes gain an entrance to signal a particular season. Hysterical scurrying, with a "bam!" to finish, lets me know that the house has cleverly admitted a mouse, triggering a test of the house's smart-cat defense system.
Spiffing the small bathroom - check
Call to dr's office - check
... ..plus did the online bit for upcoming appts
Remembered today was the debut of a tutorial video, so watched that with lunch.
Delegation-alongside - helped with trash chores, with his call regarding tax prep, last-minute adds to grocery order.
Next Ups
grocery order put-away
DgsW arrival - what can I offer for after-school... ..
bite nails while making fabric cuts (measure 14 times, cut once)
Tomorrow - I'll be HRH's companion to faraway town for eye appt

Re: Have a Wonderful Wednesday in PWYC!
I made Salisbury Steak and served it and gravy on top of white rice. I usually do mashed potatoes but already had some rice ready so decided to use it instead.

** Harvest asparagus spears - a quick look at raised bed this morning showed what appears to be about a dozen spears
** Lap #7 around the circle driveway. Boring but an easy and quick way to get some steps without leaving DH too long.

Nancy - bread baking is my sons' job - usually the youngest but it started with middle one. They perfected baking during the pandemic and now they have a bread baker machine.
rrose -I love you call your husband sweetie - how long have you been married?
Harriett - I think your house has its own smarts and you read its language well.
LadyM - I used to love cooking, the guys all 3 do most of it any more. The boys (is it wierd I call 27 and 31 year old men the boys?) are gourmet chefs. They each have signature dishes. DS27 was taught to assemble meals, hense sous chef since he was 5. All of my boys can cook, clean, sew, minor repair on cars, grocery shop, do laundry, do yard work etc. They all have taught girls and friends how to do laundry or will cook for them and friends ae so amazed.
I am back from work, going to fold the load of table cloths in the dryer, fluffing now, and then put last load in dryer and then go to church for Lenten evening prayer, to walk the Labrynth before we send it back, we rented it. I will also take the Deacon Stole I made.
