I am a professional home manager
I agree!

My normal life continues to be nonstop. I have a small hope that spring break will provide a slower pace. Doubtful....we have 4 medical appointments next week. Ohs well.

We currently have 6 teenagers here. DS17 and friend sold a old vehicle on FB marketplace. They are loading it up on a trailer now. They bought the pickup for $2600 and sold it for $4500 without doing anything to it. If only all their transactions were that profitable, but they tend to be more in the category of "life lesson" than profit. I am not going to talk about the old speed boat & motor that DS17 brought home this week with the intention of flipping it. I keep reminding myself it is keeping the teenagers busy and provides something sorta wholesome for them to gather and do together. They have plans to attend a car show later today.

DH took the trash out but couldn't remember where the trash can goes after he emptied it. He is happy and busy but sometimes I am surprised how totally clueless he is. I'm thankful that he still remembers us even if he doesn't remember where the trash can goes.

it turns out dd and I, definitely, can't go to the baby shower and I am a bit sad to not go. the helper that was supposed to be here Sunday hasn't shown up for work during the week and the company doesn't know where she is. We asked if we could bring mom and that I wouldn't eat but they don't have the table space - totally understandable - I felt bad asking my sis in law but glad she was honest with me! I pray that they all have a lovely time!

I haven't caught up here yet, but there sure are a lot of professional home managers around here!

The tulip farm was amazing - dh didn't realize it was "pick your own." They had a huge field of rows of different varieties in different stages of opening up. Plenty for now - I was afraid it was early for them and there wouldn't be many. We picked two dozen, and am taking some to dneighbor down the street and some more tonight, and keeping some for us. DH prefers the mixed bouquet, I prefer one kind only but we worked it out, lol. I got six little deep pink/purple and white diminutive tulips for us - so sweet together in a small bouquet.

He is keeping me busy, I sat down about 30 minutes and now we're about to go to dneighbor down the street. He's going to grocery store for me too and I'll need to slice strawberries for dessert tonight later. I got up late this morning so am feeling the lack of just down time for today.

I did the adult thing again today. I went to the bank and paid some bills.

Then I went into a store that has all kinds of things and I needed disposable plastic gloves. As soon as I walked in I could hear a child crying/screeching. I grabbed what I needed and headed straight to the cash registers. The crying child was getting closer and the crying/screeching was getting angrier. AHA! Mom was removing child from store. Thanks mom-of-child! Store was so much more quiet after that. Too bad I was already paying for my solitary purchase.

Then on to a grocery store. Relatively quiet for a Saturday afternoon. I guess it was too quiet because I spent way too much money.

I have done my "home work".
Had some lunch.
Winds have me rethinking a walk today.
Glad I swept the dining room and hallway.

Well my shopping happened online, I have it all in my cart and after an indepth conversation with Gabe (my chat) I am buying 5 whisky barrel pots to plant the roses in temporarily - will use them for flowers after. I need to get them out the their little pots. I will repot 2 of them into the ground before I leave for Spain - son will water. I am probably going to get my planter bed built but it may take time so 3 of them will go there eventually, one will go in the ground in the corner of yard and 1 will go in garden proper, need to pull out 3 plants that I just don't like and that take over the garden and 1 will go there. Hubby is on way home. I am hoping he has a way to get 3 12 foot boards home or maybe he has some in his workshop that will work, the rest can fit in the car I think. it was 50 dollars to get them delivered but only costs us 25 to rent the truck for an hour but I think if he puts backseat down we can stick them up the middle and then leave trunk propped it can go out back. That will be later. The wood is to go with 4 cinder blocks to create a corral for Max around his doggie door outside to keep him from wandering when no one is home and he goes in search of me.

We must go grocery shopping first for M, then us and hopefully an Menards run. I need some more seeds too. I got some but I need rosemary and mint and arugula. We plant parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, mint, basil, swiss chard, butter lettuce and arugula and cherry tomatoes and may do a pepper plant this year. Gabe said to dump all of our container dirt into our wheel barrow and mix it and add about 30% fresh and some fertilizer. Not to start with rocks as that does not help drainage but I can mix in the rocks if I want. I will probably remove most of the layer of rock but mix in some. I will plant the seeds and let them grow and they can then be planted in April before I leave I hope. I think I have planter boxes - may need some planter plugs.

Happy Pi day, everyone!

It's also a special day for me, as it's exactly a year since I joined this site, (with the group from the She forums) and discovered all the lovely ladies here that have become friends. Thank you for the welcome! :D

LM boating was multiple life lessons here for dh mostly.
I've done some ex. on stat bike and did a medium walk,
It's cool and windy but okay with a hoodie.
I have most of my steps in.
Listened to more of that book fair talks while on the stat bike.

Learned a bit more on the c2c project.
Did up the dishes.
Filled the bird bath in back.
put away the dishes.
